Do you use your iPhone as an alarm clock?

Pretty much every day for the last 3 years and only hasn't gone off once (this new years day just gone... but it was a Sunday so no problem!)

I use to have the "It's Always Sunny.." or "Dexter" themes as the alarm, but recently moved to ELO - Mr Blue Sky... such an upbeat tune to wake up to:D

I also use my snooze MultiSnooze.com

Well I've wondered this for a while. How many people use their iPhone as an alarm clock daily?

Do you use the stock iPhone alarm clock or are you using an alarm clock app? If so, which app are you using?

Look for a brand new snooze alarm clock app hitting the Apple App Store soon. It's called MultiSnooze. It allows you to tap your snooze button multiple times and take your snoozes right up front when you determine that you're going to hit your snooze button again and again. You snooze you win. I'll check this out.

I'm a big fan of "Alarmed" Always works and is free. The reminder timers are the best part. - The apple alarm is not reliable, and I've had 3 different iPhones.

It seems to be the opposite for me. I've had so many problems with alarm apps. From them not going off, to the apps crashing over night and just so many different problems. Apple's alarm app is the only one I can actually trust when I NEED to be up at a specific time.

I prefer to use apps compared to the default alarm. The fact that you can't use your itunes library music is just kind of funny to me. Currently using Alarm Pro but that Multi Snooze seems pretty interesting honestly, probably going to give it a try, right after that NightStand app.

Is there an alarm app that is kind of difficult to turn off ?
Something where I don't just hit snooze but instead keeps "ringing" until I do some specific things like a code or something to turn it off ?

Because I'm a heavy sleeper and I can often turn off the alarm during my half-sleep lol

I'm EXACTLY like you... What I did was I plugged my iPhone in near my desk. (To get there I would have to get off my bed and walk) I turned it up to full blast so it does wake me up. By the time I walk over to my desk to shut it off and start walking back for the bed, I'm up. You should try this. It's solved so many alarm clock issues for me. I always kept turning mine off while I was sleeping without even knowing it.

I'm doing this too XD But I'd still like to have my iPhone close to me you know ? So I can check things faster :)

I stopped using it for waking up as soon as I realised you have to leave the iPhone on or else it wouldn't work, and I turn my phone off every night, so I use my previous phone(Ericsson K800i) as my alarm clock instead.

I start to resent whatever alarm sound is used to wake me up, and I'd rather not resent my iPhone because I like it :)

Stock App.. Its awesome.
The only thing with the clock app is that if I use the timer to take a nap, then I tend to sleep right through it.

Haha yeah I know exactly what you mean. I sometimes wake up and want to check something, but I'm too lazy to get out of bed. But it's basically the only option for me. I'd somehow turn off every alarm clock I've had near me, while sleeping.

Yes but it's not reliable. Sometimes when notifications come through the alarm choke and doesn't ring ill you click ok on the notification. It's really dumb.

Every weekday since I purchased the iPhone. Stock alarm clock.

Before the iPhone, I was using a Sony Dream Machine since grade school.

Yes, I use Best Alarm Clock (paid version .99) every day. It has never failed me in the past 6 months. Plays music from your iTunes.
