What needs to happen to create a new subforum for apps? There are quite a few topics on the subject already and it would be AWESOME to have a subforum for them...

Asking for an ipad specific app sub forum...

I know it's been asked for before but i'm asking again. I'd like to see a subforum for ipad specific apps. Or in the app forum require that in the title of a post the poster should put <universal>, <ipad>, or <iphone/ipod touch> to make it easier to know which app is for which platform.

I agree FWIW. I think the iPad is different enough from the iPhone that it should have a separate forum:

1. To discuss iPad specific apps/reviews.
2. To discuss iPad specific app issues.
3. To avoid sifting through discussions about [iPhone] apps that iPad users might not use
