I know what thread you’re referring to (See below), and that’s false, the casing was never bent, as that would be extremely difficult to do. I believe that member also came in contact with a rock against the casing causing the scratch.

That’s my watch. It’s totally fine other than the scratch and I decided to keep it rather than try to do the AppleCare thing / exchange for bare stainless.
Not dented. Screen confirmed with digital calipers to be as it should and has even since been under water with no harm. 100% fine.
It was scratched doing yard work, which is honestly one of the more tame activities I do.
My series 0 lived through far, far worse and I suspect this one will too...with a few additional scuffs, scratches and dings after a couple years.
In the end, it’s just a tool that will get recycled or thrown away and not a family heirloom.
