FYI I heard from DODOcase that they are altering the wallet to be tighter... All wallets sent out from this point should be good. This is a relief-

When did you hear this?

I received my case yesterday. Love the look/feel but if it is at an angle, the phone will slip out. Wrote customer service this morning. The reply states:

>>>Thanks so much for your email. Our new iPhone Wallet is specifically designed in such a way that you may easily access your iPhone when it rings. If the fit is too tight, then it's hard to get the phone out quickly. The pockets on the sides for cash and cards will help provide a snug fit when they are filled, and when they are not then the center pocket will be looser.

If you're not completely satisfied with your iPhone 5 Wallet we'd be happy to take it back and issue you a refund.

We appreciate your continued support of DODOcase!<<<

I will most likely return mine. It's just too easy for the phone to slide out. If this is not a concern, you will love it. The feel is fantastic and if you like the looks, it's a no brainer. On mine, the top of phone is flush with opening and I'm sure it will stretch with usage so it sinks even further into the sleeve. :::sigh:::

I received mine in the mail yesterday. I'm assuming that I got a "Version 2.0" case, as there is little to no chance that the phone will be slipping out. It is almost a little difficult to remove it.

I like it, the only issue i can see are the pockets aren't very tight, so if you are storing your cash or cards in the side pockets, it wouldn't be very hard for them to slip out...especially when you don't have the phone inside. If they would have made the pockets about 1/2" deeper, that would have made it much better.

So if dodocase are reading this we can probably assume a 3.0 case will be arriving.
Does this company not do real-life trials of their products?
Still ordered one though as I love the design just playing the waiting game at the moment.

DODOcase review

I just received my DODOcase wallet today and could not be more pleased. After reading several posts on this and other threads about the sleeve and pockets being loose, I was a little disappointed. However, came today and I am not seeing any of those things. I actually held it upside down with the phone, credit cards, cash and shook it (close to the carpet obviously) and nothing came even close to falling out. I think it's a perfect fit. Also, the phone does not stick out of the sleeve as I've read in other posts.

The one I tested did the same. BUT when I took money and cards out the phone fell out.

Just got mine. It's a perfect fit (shipped last week) only with cards inside. Without cards the phone will be pretty loose but I'm happy with it.

I never thought to test it without the cards and cash since I plan on using it as a wallet, but I tried it without the cash/cards to answer your question. You're right it does slip out a little easier when the cards/cash are not in the pockets. I never plan on using it that way, so I guess that's not important to me. I think it's designed to be used with something in the pockets.

A suggestion if you guys dont plan to put cash/cards in it, I put a small microfiber cloth inside to "fill up" one of the pockets.

Just a FYI on the DODOcase. You can easily fit the iPhone in the DODOcase with one of the minimalist cases on it. I tried it with both the SGP Air and the Photive Slim.

That's good to hear! I'm thinking about doing exactly that.

I have the dodocase wallet and can fit my iphone with kayscase tpu case. It sticks out a tiny bit but I find that ok since the phone is still protected and it makes the phone a little easier to take out since you can grab it by the edge of the phone. Overall it's a great little sleeve. I just wish the leather on the sides went up about a half inch further to hold credit cards and cash in more snugly.

I just ordered one, hope to receive both the wallet and iphone 5 soon. Can people who've had their wallets for sometime now comment on how the wallet is holding up after a few weeks of use. Thanks

Mine is holding up quite nicely. I'm using mine in conjunction with a TPU case and it's worked great so far. The one thing you'll want to know is that the case will stretch out over time so when you don't have the phone in the case, the outside pockets can be a little loose (as others have noted). As such, be careful when you take your phone out that your cards/etc don't slip out of the outside pockets.

I think I read that other people use a rubber band or something to put around the outside to prevent this from happening but it hasn't really bothered me enough to do that. I only use this case as a wallet occasionally so it's not a big deal for me.

That being said, it would have been nice if dodocase had built in a strap or something to secure cards and cash in the outside pockets.

I agree with the previous comments. I love mine....it's holding up very nicely. The cards are loose when the phone is not in it, but that doesn't really matter to me. I've gotten a lot of compliments from people and have had friends purchase one after seeing mine.

stupid question, just got mine, the canvas cloth runs along the left side inside the case, has anyone seen any scuffing on the bezel cos of this?

I have not. I do have a white iPhone however. It is a bit rough, it might scratch a black iPhone.
