i hate babies on planes, in theaters, library, everywhere

no matter where i go, i hear ONE baby go WHAAAAAAA

so effing annoying and it lasts forever

im going to start an airline that bans babies lol

I'm with you on this one, want to boot them out of a window.

Toddlers too, I hate those little bastards, I was in Tescos, the other week when this little kid was shrieking big time all around the supermarket, like freaking out and his parents (some tattooed thug and his ugly Asian trophy wife) were calmly following at a leisurely distance - completely unmoved and unwilling to do anything.

I wanted to punch the kid in the face (even though it wasn't his fault (but it would make me feel immensely better)), head butt the mother and roundhouse kick the stupid dad.

Instead (because I am a bit weedy), I merely muttered to myself and prayed that the comet with earth's name on it would hurry up and wipe all life off this planet.

PEACE!

I'm glad I annoy you. ;)

Imagine when you see the double twin strollers!

While I agree that there is an etiquette for how you move about, the same applies to wheel chairs, bikes, and if you are even carrying a suitcase eh?

My suitcases take much, much less space than a stroller, and I move much faster with it than mothers with strollers. And when I'm immobile, I pull it up against myself, upright, so it barely takes up any space.

As for people in wheelchairs, most wheelchairs those days are small and only take up the space the person would've have taken if standing, maybe a bit more. And the subway/buses have a designated space for persons in a wheelchair so they aren't really obtrusive. The only time I'm particularly inconvenienced by anyone on a wheelchair is if one gets on or off the bus while I'm on it (means a long, drawn-out process or retracting the stairs, then this platform comes out, the wheelchair goes on it, it lowers to the curb, and then reverses to get the stairs back out). But I try not to be annoyed because it's not the person's fault, and there's no other ways of doing it.

Strollers, though... arrrrgh! Some people got those tiny strollers that take up hardly any space at all. I applaud those people. The ones who get huge strollers with huge overheads and huge fluffy things...

No, I don't. It's a waste of energy. One valuable lesson that I've learned from my parents is that while you're going around wasting time and hating other people, they're going about their life living. They most likely don't know you and don't care. This thread is kind of sad, imo.

This one confuses me.

Just because you'd prefer to have a relaxing weekend at home means that people who do differently are worthy of your hate?

I can understand disliking spoiled, stupid, ignorant people. But "people who go to parties" is a rather large demographic that probably includes a lot of people you'd probably like.

i'm in college. if that clears things up a bit. i don't really hate them but they aren't "my kind of people".. my favorite is when someone who parties every weekend instead of in moderation is freaking out before a final. it just gets annoying

I'm pretty sure that whether its on the street, at work, at a bar, or just reading a post on a forum...i find that I absolutely hate so many people.

And its not really without cause; so many people just do or say such retarded stuff like they have no self-awareness.

I think that if you don't feel the same way, than you may be part of that 90%.

You are certainly a great example of someone who has self awareness.

Do you think that by saying something like this, and harboring so much hostility, that you may be in lot of other people's 90%?

I know I'm not quite qualified to say this, but...

That is possibly Macrumors "post of the day" material right there!

:D

It's called being misanthropic. A lost belief in humanity.

Completely normal once one has lived for a bit. I just hope it's rational, and not some "OMG I hate the world because cool doctors like House and Cox do it" thing.

I know that House is awesome, but House isn't a real person. That is an important fact. ;)

I'm not sure that a brief encounter with a person you pass for a fleeting moment in your life can give you ANY insight into whether you can "hate" them. Sure, someone may cut you off in traffic, take 12 items through the 10 items or less line, bring a too-young child to the movies, but you cannot judge a person on these brief encounters.

I'm sure your loved ones, at some time in their life, have done something that pissed you off. However, if you judged them by that single action or moment, you would have never enjoyed the other 99.999% of the time you spent with them. Very few people are loved by nobody, so most everyone has some redeeming qualities.

I feel sorry for you.

I think you're missing the point. It's all about realizing that everyone will screw you over eventually, so there's no point in giving them a chance.

Yes, it will problaby make anyone very lonely. But at least it's not a hippie and naive view of the world. :)

Hate? No

Dislike? I would say 90% is a bit high but around my number

I am very picky, have very low patience, and am easily agitated so I meet people daily who bug me.

When it comes to online people, I find that message boards have changed quite a bit in the last few years into this arrogant, ego-driven, coolness world where everyone has to be as harsh as possible to come off cool/hip to others....so 90% is about righ

To all the baby haters out there: thank you. You will not have babies and your kind will not survive. Darwinism at its best. In my best Nelson voice, "Ha-ha.";)

If you hate 90 percent of people why would you post something like that here, seeing that youll hate 90 percent of the people who reply.

if you look at people around you and you feel like theyre retarded and have no selfawareness, youre very arrogant.

People like you are the ones who are in my 5 percent of the human population i cant stand. yea i pulled the number out of my ass.

I can't agree with you. I hate 99.999% of all people.

If you hate 90% of all people, you're very, very anti-social. How is it possible to hate 90% of people?

90% people? That is a LOT of people.

I don't know. I can't say I dislike 90% all people since I can't say I hate anyone that I don't know. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt and stay neutral/friendly unless they give me a reason.

Of all the people I DO know, I'd say I hate MAYBE one or two select people. People that I DISLIKE I simply try my best to keep them out of my life as much as possible.
