I've had a ton of issues on my 14 pro, which I'm very surprised about:

Boot issues:
- First boot hung on setting up Apple ID (copied from my iPhone 12 Pro). Waited 10 minutes, rebooted
- Second boot worked and asked me how to transfer data, I selected from my Mac, and it said it was doing that, then gave me a regular screen of apps (no data transfer)
- Restore after that worked fine

Post-startup issues:
- 1password didn't prompt for face id permissions before I reinstalled it (it would quietly error out)
- All my cards were showing as unavailable in Apple Pay (had to remove them and re-add them (they showed up as previously added cards)
- My watch prompted to be copied over to the new watch, but disconnected from both old and new phones completely. After rebooting it, I tried removing the activation lock via the old phone, which said it worked, but failed. I reset the watch via the watch itself, and added it to the new phone, discovering it was still activation locked. Fortunately, you can re-activate a watch with an activation lock if you enter the email/password of the Apple ID of the activation lock. The restore then worked correctly.

My phone is was also very warm for the first few hours, but is cooling down now.

Mine has the camera 'click' when using 3rd party apps. Battery life sucks too, but i think that's a software issue.

Does it only click once when opening the camera on third party app?

Cosmetic issue for me. Had a scratch/chip just above the dynamic island. It wasn’t too bad but the light would catch it and it would create a glare.

Ended up returning it and back to 11 pro max. Apple Store didn’t have any more in stock. Looks like I’ll be waiting around middle to end of October according to the apple website

Went from an xr to a pro max. The iphone 14 got warm but nothing outrageous. It settled in after the 16.0.1 update. Took about 1/2 hour for whole update including esim activation.

I have issues with camera on 14 pro.. It's not vibrating on any 3rd party apps, or ios camera app, but IT DOES STRANGE STATIC NOISE. You can hear it loudly when you put ear close to the camera.

No major issues on my 14 Pro. Device to device transfer went smoothly as did transferring from pSIM to eSIM on Verizon.

When I was trying to find a 13 mini last year around end of October after a few weeks of in store, I just kept checking Apple.com a few times a day until one was available in the configuration I wanted for store pickup same day (or next).

I’d suggest just keep checking and hope to get lucky.

(I think what happened with me perhaps is that someone returned unopened 🤷‍♂️)

Yes the quality is down this year but who cares it’s Apple baby a software update or keep returning the device will get us a good one 🤣😂

Got my 14 Pro on Friday. Happy so far.

Unhappy that UPS left it at my front door without ringing the bell, or WITHOUT getting a signature! But, I bet they would have balked if someone would have stolen it.

My issue is that I am still waiting for my carrier to transfer my SIM to eSIM.
I don't have LTE connection yet. That's the only problem I have with having no SIM tray.

Ok so tried the 20% low battery warning DI popup and can confirm a long press on it prompts to turn on low power mode, so all is well, I have a perfect iPhone 14 Pro Space Black 256Gb.
