No remorse here. I'm 90% satisfied with the 11 Pro coming from the X. I would 100% satisfied if it had the Qualcomm chip. Trusting the 2020 models will Qualcomm chip since Apple and Qualcomm made up after years of fighting.

Right I get it I chose to get ripped off but still Apple should have given us more features for that money

that being said anyone coming from an iPhone seven or below this iPhone is major

And what features should those be?

Would you feel ripped off if you owned a 2017 BMW and you traded it in for a 2019 BMW?

Regardless, you should feel ripped off by both phones because their OLED displays use low frequency PWM to control the backlight brightness which is essentially strobing your eyes by turning the backlight on and off constantly.

Which other phone that uses OLED doesn't use PWM?

I upgraded from XS and glad I did. The 11 Pro overall experience is much improved over my previous XS. I wish people would stop saying Apple ripped them off. They did not. All the information was there for you to make an informed decision before purchase. your still within the 14 day return period. Take it back.

agreed. I went from the XS Max to the Pro max. Maybe I had a dud of a XS, but this thing feels much smoother...and I was using 13.1.1 on my XS before I switch. The only thing I really miss is 3D Touch to move the cursor. I used it all the time.

Yup, I agree 100%. I “upgraded” from my trusted and beloved iPhone X. Got the Pro Max. Feels exactly the same except the screen is bigger. Face ID is still same old s***. In fact, I hate it.

Overall, wasn’t worth it at all.

But the absolute worst thing about the new iPhones is iOS 13 that they are running. It’s the worst and the buggiest software I’ve ever used. It’s a complete disaster. I don’t know what they were thinking.

tvOS 13 has ruined my HomePod.

Catalina has wreaked havoc in my iCloud Drive. And I don’t see it being fixed in the final release either. After all, beta bugs were never fixed in the final iOS 13, not even 13.1.1. Why would Catalina be any different. What a dumpster fire.

All in all, 2019 has been the worst year for Apple’s software. I bet a lot of people would agree with this sentiment.
Sorry you feel that way...

I’m waiting awhile before making a decision to buy the Pro from the XS

Honestly, I found iOS 7, 8, and 11 to be the most inefficient and buddy releases. The smoothest for me was iOS 4, 6, 10, and 12.

This complaint and many more like it throughout the years is a good reason not to upgrade every year or maybe even two years. Not much of a good upgrade to justify the cost. I’ll keep mine for at least two years before I upgrade again. ;) Next year hopefully, Apple will come up with something to justify an upgrade. Looking forward to it.

like......

under glass fingerprint reader.
no more notches
perhaps a better speaker.
thinner Bezel
USB-C
improved antenna

Have owned almost every iPhone through out the years (never owned an iPhone 8) , I know what I am getting and have never felt “ripped” off. If you want a serious wow factor you need to wait 3 or more years between upgrades. This year Xs Max to 11 Pro Max, considered 11 Pro but decided the screen and battery is worth the slightly bigger size then I like. My only real complaint is the lack of 3D Touch and replacing with haptic touch. I personally rather 3D other than that and maybe the fact it gained a little weight this thing is great. It is the best iPhone I have even owned (until next year).

I had buyers remorse going from XS Max to 11 Pro. I realized I missed the screen size after all. So I returned it. Problem solved. I didn’t feel ripped off. I chose to get it. I chose to return it and go back to my XS Max.

Buyers remorse?
No!
if apple didn’t release the 11 series I would still be paying the same for my XS max.

the specs and changes were pasted all over the internet.
Many here have chosen to forego the upgrade and wait for the next generation. I suspect a fair amount of those peeps will, without announcement, upgrade and enjoy the new phone.

While I agree the 11 may not have OMG factor, Apple may reward those that have upgraded a few perks when it comes to functionality through software updates.

I got the midnight green iPhone 11 Pro and at first I loved it!

It's faster from the iPhone X, which is nice.

But now that it's been a few days I'm starting to have buyer's remorse.

It's just not all that different than my iPhone X

Feel kinda ripped off

Yep, except for the amazing ultra-wide day shots and night mode, it is not a huge leap from the 2-year-old iPhone X. Maybe the gaming performance? But I don't game on my phone.

I wish I had reason to use camera more. It truly amazing.

I’m not blaming Apple.

I know I bought it. It was my choice.

but I still think it should have more features.

Do I wish it was cheaper? Yes. But coming from a 7, this is a huge improvement for me. Absolutely insane battery life, 3x the cameras + night mode, OLED and brighter screen, and face ID.

It's only been a few days but I'll see in another week 😄

Not sure but maybe no notch, thinner, lighter, foldable display like the Samsung one, 2 day battery life, in screen fingerprint ID, headphone jack haha

So you went in, posted in another thread how nice of an upgrade this is and now come back and want these features?
This stuff didn’t matter to you one bit when you made the purchase. What’s your lesson learned for the next time?

I’m sorry but I find this hard to wrap my head around. Maybe you should buy a phone that actually has these features and be happy then?

I never regret buying an iPhone that I can pass on to my kids to 2 or 3 years later, have them use it for 2 - 3 years more and it still be a relevant, updated phone.

No other phone holds value like an iPhone.

I was android before moving to the 4S and recall giving my older androids to my sons. Without software updates they felt like Dookey and were worth even less than that.

I have an X and am thinking of upgrading to a bigger 6.5 screen in 11 Max Pro.

But even if I was going from X to 11 Pro........why would I not want better camera with telephoto lens features like wide angle / night mode, faster internet modem downloads with Wi-fi 6 support, 4-5 more hours of batterylife on top of an XDR display up to 1200 nits?

No regrets, like I did before the 4S.

Upgraded from the X and I have no regrets. I knew very well what the upgrades were so I don’t have any buyers remorse.

My point is those features will happen when they happen if they happen.

I would like a few of those features also. You can forget that headphone jack that’s not coming back.
