I had exactly the same kitchen cabinets in my last rented flat. Hated them. Previous tenant was a less than fastidious cleaner and I spent a day cleaning dried-on grease from all the grooves.

Plus I have three 1GHz TiBooks.:p
Or trading for an intel whitebook?

Also, just made an offer for $25 for a low end quicksilver.

hey He is in the UK (I think), it would be cheeper to ship one to me :p (seriously tho if anyone here has a spare tibook hopefully one with a DVI port give me a shout) I have a core 2 duo blackbook sitting around not doing anything :p

Surprisingly enough, another 1GHz TiBook came up for auction today, this time with the full kit and caboodle. Did anyone here have a go? The winning bid seems to be about the going rate.

I noticed this come up for auction today. Something I would like to round off my software collection but not at this price.

Amazon also has one at half the price but won't ship overseas. Boo!

If you all will forgive me for(once again) bringing up this thread, I thought it was a good time to do my "September Inventory"

Chapeau!
Guess you've put on "weight" "recently" (comparing first and last page of this thread) ;)
I just found this thread today morning at breakfast a good cup of coffee and I really had to smile about all the collectors postings: "I'm not alone"
Most of my collectibles are in use or meant as future replacement for the one's been in use...
But the rest sits here just for the hell of it.
The desktops work as "Fat" Clients in a Windows-Network (PPCs mixed with old intel machines). And they had been much cheaper and easier to maintain, than their Win-client counterparts.
And they do look much better ... :D
Unfortunately Windows2008Server-Terminal-Licensing kicked the PPC out of the network, since the "MS RemoteDesktop App" is outdated and no further updates available. So I switched to intel-iMacs with OS X Lion until Eyoungren gave me the hint about VNC - now everyone's back in the game again :)
The iBooks I use in combination with a beamer: one sits beside the beamer and generates an HotSpot, the other one I use for controlling the screen. No more fear about USB-viruses and the combination of Office2004/2008 and LibreOffice allows every office document to be opened.
Here's my list - I 'just' looked for the machines that impressed me most...
iMacG3 graphite (looks nice but it's really bulky and it's plastic case has got really fragile)
iBookG3 Clamshell Graphite/Indigo/KeyLime (certainly my last adventure...)
2 CubeG4 450MHz with 15/17/20" display and Harman-Cardon Speakers and Soundsticks/Subwhoofer (everything started with them...)
iMacG4 "lamp" (ought to get a companion...)
iBookG3 (an early one with translucent caps)
some iBookG4 12/14" (1,2/1,33/1,42GHz) (On the road/for presentations...)
PowerBookG4 12" (Don't like the smelly keyboard :( ...)
iMac G5 20" (w and w/o iSight) (They're now in the shadow of the intel-emacs)
iMac intel c2duo white with 15/17/20" screen
MacBook2008 alu (2,4GHz/8MB RAM/SSD) (My main workhorse and VPN-client)
Incidentally I've got a Sawtooth and a Quicksilver for 10€ each when collecting one of the other items - didn't give them a test-drive yet, but they look impressing!
Enough stuff to fill all workspaces and corners at home and office. But yes, I'm really happy to work with this little Apple-museum.

When I got my iMacG4 the chap who sold it held a complete collection if iMac-G3. Even the "flower-power" and the "dalmatian-blue" one.
Very impressive and especially nice to look at. But they had been all sold the day before...
On the other hand I do not really like CRT-monitors anymore - they are really bulky and the iMacG3's plastic-case is somehow brittle and tends to break.
I've ruined one. It was a "present" from a friend of mine who run's an advertising-agency (he told me nobody in the agency did want it ...). I did a proper setup of Tiger on that machine but when I switched-on the equalizer on VLC (don't ever do this on an iMacG3) it completely blew both speakers (they looked like "Cohaagen decompresses" on the Mars' surface in "Total Recall"). After that I removed all electronical parts to convert it into a lamp or bar. Still unfinished - the case rests on our attic. Shame on me.
I could have get new speakers (the chap with the iMac-collection would have give me a few of them for free ...) They are really special to take apart, these CRT-iMacs.
But despite of CRT, bulkiness and electrical-hazards they are a class of its own!
I've still got a second one: iMac G3 Graphite with two fitting keyboards and a hockey-puck mouse. They do look very nice in company of my "brand-new" Clamshell Graphite. :)

With iMac G3s, you also have to keep in mind the difference between tray loaders and slot loaders which-despite their external similarities-are totally different beasts and share almost no parts.

Of all of mine, I'm rather partial to the 400mhz Graphite "DV" model, which(I think) was the first with Firewire and also had a DVD drive. I actually have two of these, although one is parts only. I need to pull a speaker out of it and transplant it to my Indigo iMac-that one has a speaker that rattles badly.

Funny enough, I started out saying no to CRTs, but rarely turn them down anymore. Some Apple CRTs are classics. I like having the Blueberry and Graphite ones to pair with their respective towers and all are high quality aperture grill CRTs. I also have two of the finest CRTs Apple made-the 21" Trinitron in graphite and the 17" ADC. Despite the fact that the 17" is a Diamontron tube and not Trinitron, I honestly think it's a better tube overall than the 21"(by this point, I think all aperture grill CRTs were on a pretty even playing field, and the 17" does have the advantage of being a true flat tube).

Indigo and Graphite are my favorite colors/models too. Wish I didn't blow the Indigo one. Both came with slot-loaders.
Now I remember, the Indigo choked my nice's favorite DVD ... That had been another reason to take it apart.
Here's a picture of it's last blooming days ...
