Hi,
I was thinking about getting an apple watch but would like to know if the Apple Watch battery last the whole day?
Does anyone have issues with it not lasting the entire day?
Thanks.

Lowest I've seen is 20% and thats after a 20 hour day. Usually have between 30-50% remaining after a 16 hour day, depending on how much I used it.

I'm finding it lasts me nearly 24 hours. I put it on in the morning, wear it all day, sleep with it on, and wake up to find it showing low battery warning. I then put it on charger for about an hour to charge it back up, and put it on again.

I have mine on 16-18 hours per day and usually run the workout app an hour per day as well as having Bluetooth music from the Watch to my headphones during the workout. Very seldom do I need to recharge during the day but sometimes it's close depending on how much other activity I have on the Watch. For normal use without the workout app running I don't think there would ever be a problem. In fact some people go two days between charging.

When i had the 38mm, it would die on me every 2 out of 7 days or so. with the 42mm ive never managed to kill it in one day, always have 30-40 percent or so left.

I usually finish up the day around 40%. Before the last update the percentage was much high (in the 50s).

Right now, I'm at 87% and I've been wearing the watch since 5:30am and its 2:08 my time.

it's 1:19PM right now and been up since 6:30am and I'm at 79%. I can easily get two full days out of it.

I have no problem getting through the day... 6s plus and AW both seem to go at about the same rate and about the worst I've had was 20% left, but this were days I was fiddling with it a lot more than normal.

It can almost last 2 days for me. Particularly since Watch OS 2.0.1 came out, it usually has around 50-60% left when I take it off after about 15 hours of normal use. Note I don't use the Activity app, so if you plan to do so, you'll use up the battery more quickly. I use it as a watch and for notifications and glances primarily.

Easily. Took my watch off from a full charge at 7:30am this morning. It's now 7:30pm and my battery is showing 76%.

That's a working day for me with some use of the watch. More than good enough battery.

Last two days for me but I also wear mine at night for the alarm and sleep tracking. Hits power reserve on the second day around 8pm.

The only day the battery did not last the entire day was the day I bought it four months ago. Of course I was playing with it constantly, and it did not have a full charge to begin with. Since then it has easily lasted all day every day. I usually put it on at 6:30 AM and take it off between 11:00 PM and Midnight. It typically has 20% to 35% battery remaining. Sometimes even more. Occasionally I will get it down into the teens, but that's usually an atypical day when I talk more on the phone over the watch, or track longer workouts than usual. It's a 38mm AW Sport.

Never been an issue. It's on when I wake up, and off when I go to bed. I've never had to even think about the battery.

The better way to ask that would be "does the apple watch last the entire day for you?" or set up a poll.

I know that it does for me.

I've been stay at a friends house and going home every two days, I put it into power saving mode after about 40 hours (while sleeping) then turn back to normal mode.
I then recharge it to 100% in about an hour and a half maybe 2 hours. Then I'm good to go again.

So nearly two days with 'normal' use.

cheers

usually, when at home, I put on 'night stand' to charge every night and its between 50-40% left.

All depends what you do.
if you are moving sync'n apps/photos the battery is very poor, you can kill it in around an hour..

Definitely lasts all day from 7am until 1 am always have approximately 40% left, with the latest OS it lasts even longer
