In nearly five months I think I've needed to recharge during the day twice. Once was a day I was sticking lots of bits of card together and I realised too late that the screen was switching on each time. Not sure what the issue was the other time but I think it was just after updating the system and maybe it was connected to that.

Generally I end the day on at least 30-40% though.

Yes, it lasts the entire day for me. Usually between 35-60% remaining by the time I plop it onto the charger.

I also wear it in bed since it's so effective at tapping me awake in the morning. Overnight, it drains about one percent per hour.

Hi,
I was thinking about getting an apple watch but would like to know if the Apple Watch battery last the whole day?
Does anyone have issues with it not lasting the entire day?
Thanks.

I wear mine all day and all night. I put it on its charger when I get up, and it's ready for the day by the time I'm dressed. Typically it's at 30-40% by the time it goes on the charger.

Same as most of these other replies. I have the 42mm, and wear it every day for 14-16 hours. It's always got 30%- 40% battery left when I put it on the charger overnight. This includes daily workouts of at least one full hour.

I could probably get a couple of days usage. But I always charge during the night with my iPhone.

Yes, especially since watchOS 2.0.1. At the end of the day it usually has 50% of the battery left.

I put my fully overnight charged watch on Saturday morning Oct. 31st at 6am. This morning at 5:51am it's at 51%. Usually by about 7pm tonight it's about 15%.

Don't worry about the battery, lasts more than enough :) the only times I've ran into battery problems is when there is a bug in the OS (Watch OS2.0), but it only takes a restart to fix in most cases.

The only time I've ever had the battery die before the end of the day was when I ran a marathon. If I would have run faster (and gotten closer to my target time) I would have finished the race before the battery died, but it died somewhere around 4 and half hours into the race. I was logging the run so I lost the recording of the run, but all of the step and calorie data was synced with my phone.

Except for that one day I rarely get below even 50%.

I only need to charge mine every other day if I haven't used the workout app. Thats with receiving messages an notifications all the time too. Very happy.

At the end of the 2nd day when I put it on charge it's usually At about 10-14%

I typically still have about 40% left when I put it on the charger each night. My watch is on my wrist for about 15 hours a day.

Mine does now. Been off the charger since 7:50AM and I'm at 79% now. It also helped that I cut down on how many people I conversed w/ during the day.

If you get the 42, no worries. With the 38 it could be tricky but not that often. My wife has the 38 and with similar usage patterns I would say I always have 20% or so more of battery charge left than she does. I've read posts from quite a few others on here as well and that 20% seems common.

My battery life went from having ~50-55% remaining after ~15 hours of use to ~35-40% remaining after the latest update.

It would be worth noting the watch size, my 38 does last the day but only just. I have mine on for 15-16 hours, 30 mins workout and it'll be around 10-15% by the time I go to bed.

I don't pay much attention to the battery. I simply dock it on my night stand when I go to sleep.

It's 3:06 am 68% started it at 10:44 am yesterday brightness at the lowest it lasting me two days I'm going to put it on charger 8 PM today best battery ever

Main problem I have with the battery is when should I charge it when I use it for sleep tracking? What do you guys do?
