The most annoying auto-correct moment that I had was when the whole Lebron James announcement thing went down this summer. My buddy is a big Cavaliers fan and texted me about it. I texted him back something along the lines of "I'm not a big NBA fan now, if I was then maybe it would be a bigger deal." not sure what i mis-typed but it switched the B to an N, slightly changing the tone of the text, especially since my buddy is African American.

Drove me crazy so I disabled it. Of course now more and more of my mailss lok like thiss.
I don't use it for work.

I find autocorrect a problem in Messenger, where people tend to type and press enter faster. I also chat in Spanish and it's no better.

One of the keys to stopping some auto-correct frustration is to avoid conjunctions. I have begun doing that for a while now and life is just easier. However, this does nothing for your "i" problem :)

Do you mean contractions?

Yes it does piss me off. It isn't needed, and turns the younger generation into dribbling morons who don't know how to spell common words.

Many times I have witnessed native English speakers with English skills below that of a second language student from China ect. :(

And by "ect." you meant "ec tetera?" Hmm, one order of stones for the glass house, chop chop!:)

There are some simple features Apple just can't get right. This is one of them. What a sad commentary for an otherwise capable ( if not stubborn co. )

Jobs & his pitiful ego prevail over the absurd once again.
