I think it looks fine and I personally love bigger watches. I just moved from 44mm to 45mm Apple Watch and I like it. As long as its comfortable that is what’s important. As long as it feels fine in the next week me days I wouldn’t get a 41m. It’s just too small. Here are come pics of my new 45mm
holy cow, do you really wear your watch that tight?? look downright painful!!

OP, tbh, and since you asked, I think the 41 mm would look better on you. But, the 45 mm looks fine also -- I wouldn't say "weird," maybe just a tad large.

It is the way i am flexing my hand for the pic that makes it look like that. It is not the way it is in real life. I had my hand in a position that was not normal.

Nope not at all. It is the way i am flexing my hand for the pic that makes it look like that. It is not the way it is in real life. I had my hand in a position that was not normal.
I've been asked the same once. It's really just for pics with me as well. You have to turn your wrist in a weird angle for a good shot. Since then I always try to hold my arm straight for pictures. 😅

Got my first Apple Watch ever - managed to pick up a 45mm gold stainless steel with dark cherry sport band yesterday.
Loving it so far, such a great experience and the gold stainless steel case is beautiful.
I’m only concerned about the size: it feels comfortable, but I’m not sure if it looks weird or not.

What do you guys think? Should I return it and get a 41mm instead?View attachment 1867623
Do you like the size and find it comfortable? Why rely on other people’s views? There’s no right or wrong.

I think all Apple Watches look ridiculously big and clunky on the wrist (and the bigger, the clunkier, obviously).

I'm not saying this to troll; I say this as a dedicated Mac/iPhone/iPad user for twelve years and counting.

I don't like Android - but if I did want a smart watch (or whatever they're called) I'd be in a dilemma, because the Samsung Galaxy watches are at least round, less clunky - and generally look pretty slick.

Apologies if this should be in another thread.

no need apology, just telling the truth and don't be intimidated by those ppl who enjoy labeling others with "troll"

Looks like a keeper from my point of view 🤷🏻 I think I got smaller wrist’s.

3 years ago i would have said it looks too big.
But as more and more people wear big watches i got used to it and now looking at your wrist i think the smaller one would look too delicate on your wrist.

Loving that band being pulled TIGHT!

And another Hermes fan - love it.

crazy thought but...what do you think?

if you think it's too big then return it and get the 41mm. it's totally a personal choice.

anyway, i think it looks great on you. personally, i think 45mm would be too small for me. hoping the Series 8 offers a larger version next year.

Not sure what you’re worried about.

45mm is on the edge of being large for small wrists given the way AW7 has the band attached to it. You could actually go up to 48mm without difficulty if Apple would re-do the design.

I tried it on at the (44 mm), I love it, not too big or small. Just not in a need to replace my series 3. I’m surprised by backlash on the colors in the tech review scene. I would wear anyone without hesitance. They are all gorgeous.

I especially love the green.

Looks fine to me. I think it looks ridiculous when the watch fills the entire wrist and the band goes straight backwards. Here you have a decent amount of band against the wrist top and bottom.

If the next watch is bigger you may need to step down but for now just go with whichever you prefer.
