My honest thoughts are, and I’m not being funny here, is why give a crap what anybody else thinks? You do you.
Agree with above poster. Only you can make that determination, not ask some stranger on forum for their advice.

Same wrist as yours. I went with the Alpine Loop for a less jarring look/fit on my wrist instead of Trail Loop.

@kht410 I broke my right wrist ~6 weeks ago, and for giggles I tried putting my AW9 45mm and nope - wouldn’t fit on my sausage wrist even if I let my favourite band all the way out. Would have looked ridiculously small if I painfully succeeded.

In my opinion yes, it looks too big. I think the bigger Apple Watches look too big on most wrists, I think that's true of a lot of analogue watches too, I'm just kindof a small watch guy. It's mostly the thickness I think. My favorite ever watch was a Mondain Swiss Railways watch I had before Apple Watch came out, was a lovely thin, minimalist design.

As for everyone saying "who cares, you do you", I agree with the sentiment 100% - if you like it then it doesn't matter what anyone else things, but if OP actually just can't make their mind up and genuinely wants a second opinion to help them figure out what their own opinion is* then you're not helping.

*and sometimes hearing the opposite of your opinion can help sure up your own in your mind, it's not like they're necessarily just going to go with what the majority tells them

I have a small wrist too and own an Ultra as well and i like it. The watch looks great in your pictures, but it looks absolutely great. ;) Be aware, that you are deliberately wearing a "big" watch, that has to look that way.

One additional idea: The band in the pictures adds additional size. Use one of the polyelastomer bands and it looks gorgeous.

To answer your question:

Yes, it looks HUGE on your wrist. Almost comically so.

As a fashion accessory, does it look good? This is subjective, and everyone must validate their own opinion.

Mine is: The Apple Watch Ultra is UGLY, whether it is on or off someone's wrist.

But... it's actually a tool now, innit? If I would've find it more useful than the regular Apple Watch (I got), I'd wear it anyway.

Thus, decisions, decisions.
