@kht410 I broke my right wrist ~6 weeks ago, and for giggles I tried putting my AW9 45mm and nope - wouldn’t fit on my sausage wrist even if I let my favourite band all the way out. Would have looked ridiculously small if I painfully succeeded.

Tom
lol. I had sausage foot after my surgery. It wouldn’t fit in my shoes all the way. Took pics too :p
I hope you recover fast with as little pain as possible!

That’s crazy. There’s nothing wrong with politely correcting someone. It makes the world a better place, and allows people to learn new things and improve themselves. I certainly appreciate it, anyway.

It’s different if you’re rude about the correction, or are “correcting” someone’s opinion, but a polite grammar correction is a good thing for everyone.

You get my upvote :)
Their argument was that not everyone on this forum is a native English speaker and that it may hurt their feelings having their grammar corrected in public. Not sure I buy that personally, partly because I'd want to be corrected while learning another language, but mostly because in my experience it's native speakers who have the worst grammar.

Although in the case I redacted earlier you could argue it wasn't technically a grammatical issue, more an issue of semantics, in the vein of David Mitchell.

I think it looks good on you, so just enjoy the watch and don't listen to the haters.

Honestly it looks good not too big but maybe consider a different watch band. That band is on the thin side so it makes the Ultra look bigger. The Alpine or Ocean band help mitigate the Ultra size.

It doesn’t matter what any of us think. We are all strangers and our opinion shouldn’t matter. How does it feel to you? If you like it, keep it. If you are uncomfortable, then save your money or find something else.

I wore an Apple Watch for 5+ years. Never got a complement but I wore it because I enjoyed it and it was convenience for certain things. Then one day I just stopped wearing it. Again, no one noticed or commented, but that didn’t matter because I just got tired of wearing a watch, any watch.

Bottom line, you do you and don’t worry or even think about the opinions of others.

It might look like a brick 🧱 on my 5.8-5.9 inch wrist but I can fit every band except the Trail Loop. Trail Loop had to be all the way up.

Trail loop is available in 2 sizes so the shop may have had the larger strap on the watch. The smaller strap is for 130-180mm and the large 145-220mm.
Ohhh no wonder… I only know that the band on Apple Watch Ultra with one size fits all is the ocean loop. It does come with an extension piece that can be bought separately. The Alpine Loop has 3 sizes; the one I tried on is the small one. Medium size the clip goes all the way up and small it stays in the middle.
