Yesterday at the train station I casually walked some hundred meters with a gold caseless iPad Pro in one hand.

Guess it's the the same type of fear I had, but an Apple Watch would've attracted way less attention. Therefore I think it's not that bad.

I have never been concerned or intimidated wearing any watch from G-Shocks, to my Tag or Omega. I do cover my high end watches on my insurance policy which I am very happy I did. I had my Omega Seamaster Pro stolen from a locker at my gym which was replaced.

When walking through bad neighborhoods, I tend to dress down and wear my G-Shocks and am constantly aware of everything around me so I don't put myself in a position to raise potential funny business from happening.

If theif was smart they would know once it's off your wrist it's completely useless to them.

I have the 38mm steel that I'm currently wearing on a black leather strap. No one really even notices my Watch, unless they spend a few days with me.

I don't really think about it to be honest. People only notice it when I use Apple Pay or they catch me scrolling through a message though.

I'm more likely to be concerned about having my wallet knicked; it can be such a pain getting ID and cards reissued!
