Any issues with the white iPad 2? Does it still look good, crisp and clean? No tinge issues developing?

Going of my gf.. she takes it everyday to work for the train ride. usually rocking it naked or in a incase sleeve.. still looks new. But i will be picking up a case for her asap bc i dont know how much longer it'll last like that.. Shes hard on electronics..

No protection and mine still looks great. Just have a tiny scratch on the back. The bezel looks like new.

All I see in your post is bolded.

😀

Anyway.....😛

A friend of mine has the white iPad, got it around launch, and it still looks nice and white.

You do know that the white color is under glass, right?

From the number of topics I've seen like this I would guess not many people know that. Although the color is underneath the glass, I would assume a white background would show more dust/smudge than a black background would which is what the OP might actually be asking.

My friend has the white one and his still looks great. We take them everywhere and both just have a smartcover. I wouldn't be worried about it.

I don't know how my white ipad looks because I returned it and got a black one which really is less distracting. You definitely notice the white bezel, whereas the black disappears.

Glad to hear that. I almost went the the white but didn't because I was worried about it being distracting.

Topic: The only thing I can see discoloring on the white iPads is the home button.

In anything other than a dark room, I notice the black bezel more.

Really? I've been using a black one and it seems like it's just the way it should be. My eyes don't even notice the black when viewing the screen. It seems like the white would stick out like a sore thumb.

Why don't you make a white paper bezel and use it for a bit. This is a subjective decision.

Well I have the white one and just wanted to know how it will tinge over time, being I have prior experience with Apple white products. When view photos and watching movies, I don't notice the white bezel. Doesn't get in my way or bother me.
