After charging it overnight. Took the phone off charger at 100%. Been using it for 46 minutes and down to 97% battery life. Let’s see how the day unfolds.

I had to restart my phone 4 times yesterday to investigate an unrelated issue. Once was just a normal restart. Once was erase all contents, setup as new. Third time, do a DFU and setup as new. Finally, erase all contents, restore from backup. After all that, I have still not seen the issue, everything seems be okay related to the battery.

Doing a restore from backup using the computer is pretty quick.

Maybe it was just @LFC2020 who experienced the issue and he tried cursing it on us 😂

So my rebooting of 13 ProMax caused no problems have done twice.

On the subject of brightness calibration with True Tone I have noticed something else I do not like. When outside which is brighter in shade or sun (obviously) it adjusts it very bright to be seen, but that causes more battery drain and also my phone (in a apple MagSafe clear case) gets a bit warm some of times and then that downdrop in brightness goes way down to level I do not lie. So fiddling with the brightness bar when it is calibrated then I see the above behavior.

I think the issue might happen with a hard shutdown and not happen with a normal shutdown.
Nope, happened to me while doing a vol up, vol down, power button hard reset. 🤔

Maybe a one off? 🤔 I've other users who have restarted their device after performing a restore and their percentage got stuck again. 🤦‍♂️

I actually meant a hard restart, which is what you did. What was the reason you did a forced hard restart?

Is there any difference? pretty sure some people have had the issue by performing all 3. 🤔
You usually use the forced hard restart if the phone is not responding. I know 2, normal shutdown and restart, hard forced restart. What is the 3rd one?

Can confirm

I did a hard reset/reboot and the battery dropped from 97% to 92%.
Used it for maybe 15 mins or so since then but the battery was then stuck at 92%
I then plugged the phone into the Mac and checked Coconut Battery and the charge is 88%
Rebooted the phone again and battery showing as 88%

Tried to reset all settings and that didn't help.

I'll have to restore.

Latest screenshot of the battery settings show this. Battery usage under last 24 hours is stuck at 0%
Have you restarted your phone again? 🤔

Nah never tried. Never will lol
Was about to reboot it, I’m down 20 minutes on battery life for the first hour lol.

Saw that stupid check in services app clip working in the background, deleted the pesky little maggot in settings, app clips.

Apple should give us the option when checking in somewhere via QR code, if we want it to stay in app clips for 30 days. 🤦‍♂️

Are you referring to Settings->Privacy->Location Services->App Clips?
