Well, one things for sure you couldn't stay away from one thread that had the word iphone 5c in it...you are a true definition of TROLL
I meant as in last year's technology, i.e., no faster/upgraded components other than the battery.
I was agreeing with the OP. He said that he downgraded and I simply agreed. Watch the name calling.
I just did the same thing OP w/ a guy from CL. I prefer the feel and look of the 5C over the 5S. I wasn't a fan of the TouchID at all. It's all about preference.
Good for you, Happy Holidays. I agree with the TouchID though. It's not ready for primetime.

I have the 5S in gold, and recently bought a 5C because I wasn't happy with some of the little bugs the 5S had within it, side by side, with normal usage, the 64 bit processor of the 5S is no different to the 5C due to apps not utilising the full 64 bit capability, touch id is a waste of time especially if you have children that want to use the phone to play a game, the only thing that I like about the 5S is the camera, it is noticeably better than the 5 and 5C.
The only thing is, without a case, the 5C seems a bit slippery and I am worried I will drop it and break it! - with a case I think it would be so many times better, but I don't want to invest in a case if I decide against keeping it!
Decisions decisions, but I understand what the op means.
I have the 5s, however after holding and playing with the 5c a bit as well, I TOTALLY get the 5c's place in their lineup. The user experience is different from both the 5 and the 5s. The experience isn't lessor or greater, it's just different. Apple knew EXACTLY what they were doing! Someone mentioned it and NAILED it exactly - apple finally stopped offering a one size fits all solution. I can COMPLETELY see where the 5c would be way more attractive, and useful to some people over the 5s. They are two different devices. Specs and hardware aside.... The experience is different with both. I know 5s owners who would rather have the color and hard plastic casing of the 5c but got the 5s for touch ID, or because there was not a black color... But overall they actually preferred the 5c experience better. Everyone had their opinions and their needs when it comes to a phone. You get the phone that best aligns with those needs and wants. Simple as that.
The wifi chip wasn't updated? Etc..We know the processor is the same?
They updated the wifi chip in the 5c? Doesn't it support the same 802.11 a, b, g, n and n 5GHz as does the 5?
They did make both the 5s and 5c world iPhones in terms of LTE bands, but that doesn't matter until and if you sell it unlocked.
Mimo. Just guessing. Got it. So the 5c is not just a repacked 5 it's a 5+.
Or a 5- as some people consider the loss of aluminum case a downgrade despite having a slightly larger capacity battery and being a world iPhone. It's subjective.
This thread has so many ones like itself. 5c vs 5s. SO WHAT. You didn't get an Android, your life will be so much better. THATS ALL that matters.

I always felt that my 5S was just too light and fragile. It was such a thing of beauty that I couldn't use my phone like I wanted out in the wild.

TouchID was awesome the first day, until I realized that I needed to scan my finger EVERY single time I wanted to unlock the screen. Totally killed it for me, and it slowed down the process of using my phone so much I turned it off and was much happier. (I use passcode lock, with a 15 minute non-use timer so I don't have to enter it constantly. TouchID needs this.) Also, my mechanic's thumbs have a constantly changing fingerprint due to dry skin, turning bolts, cuts, grease, that TouchID rarely worked for me day after day. One day's thumb would work great, until I worked on a car. After that job, the thumb would no longer scan.

The 5S would hurt my ear.
