I much prefer physical keys, the Touch Bar was a nice gimmick and helped Apple get away with some price hikes at the time.

If they truly believed in it then why hasn't a desktop keyboard version been released?

I hope it goes away or at least becomes a paid for option so I could buy a MacBook without it.

I honestly don't mind it - then again I don't use it for much, just to change volume and other basic settings, but I certainly don't hate it.....

I really hope Apple reads MacTumors and sees this poll. They'd be making a grave mistake if they were to remove it on future MBP's - 39 people love it and only 31 people dislike or don't know how to use it

I doubt they will be interested in a niche community.

Indeed. You really have to be a genius to use touch bar 🤣

How about: 39 love coz they are not power typists and did not grasp the concept of keyboards?

Not saying they are, just saying your assumption does not hold any water. Its just a baseless insult

I actually like it now; but, it could be better…

Either Apple should invest more in playing around with getting the Touch Bar more intuitive to adjust to a persons liking, as well as really explore how it could be helpful; or Apple should make it individual keys with programmable keycaps, so a best of both worlds.

I don't mind it, but it's probably not worth the added build cost. I do use it for scrubbing video or audio, sometimes for autofilling text, and also for replacing text with emojis. Overall though, it's a very "meh" feature for me. I could probably do with or without it.
