Who does that? Who takes the time to call a compost and ask such a question? Who at Chase would even know the answer. And whay makes you think yoh ate asking someone who would even know?
It’s called contact us from the app via twitter and takes literally 10 seconds. Calm down. Why are you so fired up about good information? If it’s updated in the next week, I expect an apology.

I'd really like to buy an X, but what I learned is that, for a premium price the launch customers don't get premium experience. Better wait a few month and buy it cheaper with better support.
Usually I'm ahead of the mass, but when it comes to Apple I rather wait. It's often just their retarded policy that causes the bad experience. Like... for instance... not giving early enough dev access... They keep to try everything top secret till product launch and then everyone should have their app ready instantly. Not everyone follows the dev schedule Apple tries to dictate... some people also still test their apps.

I have looked at them numerous times in the Apple Store and still don't like the notch. I'm not sure what's modern and natural about a notch cut out of the screen. What if they put another at the bottom or sides? Does that make it even more modern and natural? To me, it sounds like validation of having a newer phone.

Serious question: what advantage do many of these apps gain by developing for the notch? It's not like it's usable real estate for Amazon Alexa or a banking app.

Not sure how to make it any clearer. It's not a notch into a screen, it's additional screen real estate to be used. It's absolutely a natural space for a clock on one side and signal and battery on the other. You can bash it as you want, but it's completely logical. Never heard anyone advocating for a bezel so hard. LOL, 2010 called and want you to retire your old school square screen phone.

Chase app does support Face ID, not sure if it requires anything on their end or just replaces the Touch ID.

Every app that supports touch ID will support face ID... it's one in the same on the dev side.

why should other companies update their apps if Apple can't even be bothered to update their own?

so....much....cringe

Apple should require them to comple. Just my opinion.

the trouble is that if you tell them they must compile you risk them telling you to "kick rocks" and they just leave all together. and Apple needs apps as much as they need Apple if not more. Because the App Store is one of the biggest selling points for the devices.

so perhaps it is up to the users to push the developers into supporting devices and features. I hit up Instagram almost weekly about how they don't support the iPad, channels like Syfy for not supporting single sign on and deep search, and so on. heck I hit Tim Cook monthly about features I can't believe haven't been added to iOS. if more folks did that perhaps these people would listen

Baffles me that Apple can’t even make sure their own lineup of apps aren’t updated for the IPhone X. Really annoys me, some of them are app I use!

the issue isn't really can't but rather do they see a value in it. some of the apps in question are just for developers, so small audience and some are actually being phased out. not a shock that they haven't seen a reason to bother.

This is what early adopters have to deal with. This is nothing new. When you buy a new game console, there are no games available. It took time for devs to support the iPhone 5, 6 and 6 plus screens. Many apps never received those updates before devs ending support. When the TB Macs launched support for the TB was limited to most of th 1st party apps and just a few 3rd party ones. It has become much better over the past year but support is not universal.

Near 100% native support will happen only when the new X display and whatever new sizes they release this year become standard. If they reduce the notch or even remove it eventually, devs will have to make changes again. It’s possible that the X display will be somewhat like the iPhone 5. The beginning of a new screen size & resolution but not what Apple will use for the next 4-5 years or so.

Man, screw the iPhone X display. I'm still waiting on native app support for the 12.9" iPad Pro's display! It's been two and a half freakin' years and Facebook and HBO Now are still not native!

Still patiently waiting for Clear and Barclay’s to update for the X. Otherwise the rest of the apps on my phone are optimized for the X.

Wait, what? Facebook doesn't fully support the large iPad's display? That's a bit of a shocker... How does it look on it?

If the X is going to be discontinued, will they keep using the 5.8" screen? I mean in a few months Chase would just rather wait until September. I mean, just saying.

I think you’ve misunderstood the idea behind discontinuing the X. It will only be discontinued to make space for the next generation X

Who said the X is being discontinued? Oh, rumors. I love how we're not even halfway through the annual cycle and people are already calling the best smartphone on the market dead. In fact it's the best smartphone I've ever owned. What would make the X even better? To have a 6.2 or 6.5 inch screen. But until that's released, the iPhone X is without a doubt the coolest phone on the market.

I don't think people realize just how powerful the face unlock is... once you get the hang of it, going back to touch ID feels primitive. FaceID is so reliable and fantastic. I can't imagine going back to a primitive rectangular screen and having to touch the fingerprint reader to unlock. And compared to some of the Android iterations of facial rec, iPhone blows them away. I even went to the Samsung Experience this past weekend in Vegas and the SGS9 just doesn't compare.

So the Chase App was updated Mid March, just like I told you it would be from the information I got from Chase. Seems like they knew and I provided good information.

I’m waiting for that apology.

Wait, so you predicted the inevitable and then are looking for praise? LOL. I predict that sometime soon, most other apps not yet supported will soon be supported. Call me lord and savior. LOL

Inbox by Google still hasn’t been for the iPhone X even after their most recent update on 23rd April

Snapseed has thankfully been updated.
