dual 2.5 on hold for me at the apple store, they have them in stock
what to do, what to do
I think I am going to buy it, and just upgrade the vid card later, I am tired of waiting
btw, this is the Tysons corner store, so get them while you can!

I'm not going to have it by the time Phil "The Mac" Schiller takes the stage in Paris. Bummer...

Whether or not the report is correct, seems like a good idea in any case.
Note also that an office got 22 dual 2.5 G5s.

DarylF2 said:I just read that as well. I didn't run the AHT, but my Dual 2.5 GHz G5 is fine, even under heavy sustained load (creating a 4GB StuffIt file, gaming, etc.). I assume that I shouldn't need to run the AHT since everything is working...
What do you all think? Does this test take long to run?

Given all the pressure on IBM to get product out, its not too much of an imagination stretch to expect quality control issues. Some of these issues may not surface under the conditions, albeit a heavy sustained load, you are running. Someday you may try a new application, that shouldn't be a problem and have a train wreck.
