There has to be a way to file a complaint with FedEx, even if you have to get a replacement through Apple. Totally unacceptable
 
It sucks, but mistakes do happen. I just hope everything gets resolved quickly for you. Maybe Apple will throw in a free smart cover or something.
 
FedEx driver admits to running over my new iPad. Totally Sucks.

Then FedEx says that all they can do it mark the package "refused" and I have to take it up with Apple. Unbelievable.

So did you refuse delivery? If so, then when Apple gets it back they should credit your account. It's between Apple and FedEx at that point. I'd just call Apple Store customer service to verify.

If you did not refuse delivery, call FedEx immediately and explain what happened. Since their driver damaged it, they should reimburse the cost of a replacement.
 
could this be a Joke Thread? It seems he only has 1 post on macrumors and he just joined and he hasn't replied back to the questiones you guys are asking him.. hmmm
