When i said to my gf look at the size of that girls ( . ) ( . ) she slapped me so hard she knocked me off my bar stool & onto a table with people sitting down to a meal,they weren't best pleased

No we actually had fun at dinner that night and later both told that story to our mutual friends. Nonetheless I feel it rightly enough quashed any ideas he might have had about a romantic relationship. What I said was really dumb, even if it had struck either of us as funny, which it didn't until a bit later. Fortunately he wasn't of some rude temper to have taken me seriously and grabbed the knife or something, and good thing we weren't drunk.
