If the air drops even more it's probably a better deal considering apple and the ecosystem.

If you can find one for 600 US that's a steal even with the flaws, the duo looks like it's the same build quality as the air.

Looks pretty incredible, but can't help to think there are some sacrifices we won't know until the coming days.

The Air was a shocker when it was shown and after owning it for a few months, realized it was not a phone with limitations, such as speakers, battery, etc.

I was expecting more from it considering the hype tbh. It’s a folding iPad mini with the screen being the main selling point. Underwhelming camera too, but it was always going to be a niche product so only has to appeal to a certain segment.

Love it... but who use's ultra wide man? No telephoto is a no from me, does it have wireless charging even? Magsafe? Or did I miss that?

oh and one more thing, all of a sudden the old style split screen is back that we cant have back on ipads? Really Apple?

I do because I like to take macro shots! I'd rather have ultrawide than telephoto any day.

Speaking of form factor, as a lefty, it's completely designed for a righty. The control locations when closed wouldn't look the same on the left side. I didn't think my dealbreaker would come from that, but it really might.

I'm a lefty and that was my first exclamation during the announcement... not sure how that will work. I do use my right hand a lot to hold the phone and then my left hand to manipulate the screen, so maybe it will be a nothing sandwich, though.

I use my current phone (air) one handed most of the time. Stinks. I have to use it in person before deciding.

They sold me on this! I was dead set against it. Was going with an iPhone 18 Pro Max.

But, damn, that is a nice phone and I don't use the extra camera features on the iPhone Pro Max so the 48 megapixel is good enough for me.

I noticed this too. Makes me wonder if that’s Apple’s plan - basically make this the previous ipad experience, saving the iPads to be what they’ve become

Love it. It will be my next iPhone and something new and fresh. The price is what I expected and I will be patient and wait to purchase it outright. I hold on to my iPhones for 4-5 years. The Duo will be a 6 year investment.

It's a great-looking phone and came together way better as a whole than the sum of the leaked parts leading up to it. The software and hardware working together is fantastic and I love the little details.

I would love to get it but the lack of telephoto lense on the back is a gamestopper for me. I travel and take too many photos with the different lenses on the Pro to lose the telephoto one.
