Yeah but the 18PM is up from ~236g to 249 and the Duo is "254". That's a heavy little phone.

Yeah, I used the old prices which is what I originally paid.

The 512GB cell iPad mini is $1049 now. Comparing new prices for the combo, it’s just a $50 difference vs the 512GB Duo.

My EDC is iPhone Air (165g) + iPad mini (297g).

If I replace the setup with the Duo, that would actually save me 200g. I don’t plan to for now but maybe in the future. I want FaceID, Action Button and no PWM in order to switch.

Yeah that's a weight saving for sure. I never use my iPad. I was dumb and bought the M4 Pro. Its only use is vacations I use for movies.

Love it... but who use's ultra wide man?

I use it occasionally, but only for macro shots (not ultra-wide shots).

Love it. Among other things, it looks like the perfect airplane tray table device. Big enough to watch a movie, small enough to read books on it, can stand on its own, etc.

BUT, I'm currently very happy with my Air, largely because I can drop it in the pocket of dress pants without looking ridiculous -- something no other iPhone quite pulled off. Not sure how I would carry this thing around in pockets.

It looks very impressive but price is very hard to justify. I find the pro max hard to justify but I think we have just gotten use to those price hikes slowly.

For 2k though I’d rather upgrade my Mac then get a 2k phone. Or buy a pro max snd a iPad for less than the duo
