Exactly. If a small percent of the population were black, should they not be allowed to vote?

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see who's ignorant in this thread and who's not.

It also doesn't take a rocket scientist to see who's a little late to the party....:D:p

Does iOS 5 have Dvorak?

Has anyone here used a beta version of iOS 5? If so, do any of the iOS 5 beta versions have Dvorak?

To clarify, I am asking specifically if iOS 5 has Dvorak as a software keyboard (i.e., the one that appears on the touchscreen), not as a setting for an external hardware keyboard.

There is no software keyboard option for Dvorak...yet. There is however an option for it on the iPad.

On iOS 4 on the iPad, there is an option for Dvorak only with a hardware (i.e., external) keyboard. Are you talking about iOS 4, or are you saying that in iOS 5, there is an actual software (i.e., on-screen) Dvorak keyboard?

Why???? Lets just make a nice interface clunky

maflynn,

Since you are a moderator, you are setting a bad example by trolling.

So, did the inclusion of a French, German, or Spanish keyboard layout option make the interface clunky? If not, then why would a Dvorak keyboard layout option make the interface clunky?

Heck, iOS 4 included Cherokee, Macedonian, and Tibetan keyboard layouts. Did that make the interface clunky?

A Dvorak keyboard layout option would only take as much space as an English keyboard, as they contain the exact same letters. That's far less data than the multiple Chinese and Japanese keyboard layouts already included in iOS. By the way, did those Chinese and Japanese keyboard layout options make the interface clunky? If not, then please explain to us how a Dvorak keyboard layout option - which would have a far smaller data footprint - would make the interface clunky.
