nice work Apple. However, it takes years until Apple fixes something. 5 years to fix the butterfly crap, 5 years to fix repairability of the backcover.

I’m on an iPhone 13 Pro Max that I got back in June, but I also know that Apple changes colors and I like that purple they have now. No guarantee they’ll have it next year. What to do….

You will get tired of that purple after a couple of months, novelty will wear off eventually
(And if you use a case it's pointless anyway)

I loved the 11 Pro in gold so that's the one I got

Then I eventually got tired of that color, not to mention most cases don't go well with it (I don't even like gold/black combo and I don't like clear cases either), except for the Apple leather case in Saddle Brown, with that glorious patina, perfect with gold

So when I upgraded to the 13 Pro back in May this year, I got the graphite; matches any case color, and looks even better with a black case

I'm sticking with the 13 Pro

Don't upgrade because of the new color that looks grey in certain angles

Now that you mention it, I think I got it 1 moth before the green was released

But even so, I would still go with graphite over any other color tbh

Purple is by far my favorite color so I doubt I'd get tired of it and I don't use a case.

I just wish that Apple wasn't so timid in their color choices. Give us some saturated colors, even in the pro line. it doesn't all have to be gray or near gray.

Fair enough but those colors look too muted, I wish they more vibrant, lie the non pro versions

How are people seriously this excited about a black blank area at the top that can grow to show stuff?

It seems like every other post on MR is about this thing. It can’t be that big a deal.

Yeah; the SIM card "feature" is a bummer for people who travel the world. Apple should have made it an option.

Kinda conflicted here. I like the functionality of Dynamic Island…but I hate the pill. Don’t like the dead space above it. Yes, Dynamic Island takes care of that. But when that’s not in use…it’s a waste of space.

I’d rather have Dynamic Island worked in a way with a notch instead of the pill.

I was about to mock you for claiming to love a feature you haven’t even used yet. But then I thought to google iPhone 14 release date, only to realize it was already out.

Your ridiculous comment aside, my how times have changed from years ago when people would line up at Apple stores to buy a truly one of a kind product.

To today, when I didn’t even realize the latest over-hyped iPhone was already available, with its most advanced feature yet - notifications and button interactions placed on a black background to hide notch 2.0.

It’s a multitasking machine. That’s why I like the feature.
