Good thing they offer that 6 Hz range when the average human adult can only hear down to 20 Hz. The aluminum combined with extra batteries are sure to make this super comfortable to wear for those 55 hours.
Just because you can't hear it, doesn't mean you can't feel it.

Infrasonics is an important aspect of music and especially films

So my guess is that these were made after doing the work with the Dyson Zone headphones. They started out wanting to make a mobile air purifier they figured out headphones were the best way to do it. But then they had to make great headphones so they sound of the air purifiers right by your ears wouldn’t bother you.

Dyson’s approach to design is actually a lot like Apple’s. They start out in one area and then slowly build on their core competencies until they’re making completely unrelated products but there is almost always a through line.

Anyway, I absolutely love my Dyson Zones. I know a lot of reviewers panned them because clean air isn’t sexy. But as somebody with a medical condition, my headphones gave me back huge parts of my life and made it safe for me to leave my home without the likelihood of extremely painful migraines due to exposure to people’s shampoos and laundry soaps.

Dyson is all about design.
And their design is always utterly kiddish.
Not sure how they manage to survive.
Indeed... I bought a top of the line Dyson cordless vacuum cleaner... died after 10 usages, pain to get warranty support, actually very cheaply built... got a Xiaomi "clone" for less than half the price... much better design, put together well and functionally (which it still is) just as good as the 10 times the Dyson worked.

Plus Mr. Dyson (or sorry Sir Dyson) it a total douchebag.

There's a lot of music and movies out there mastered for infrasonics and transmitted over Bluetooth 5.0, eh?

Way too big bulky and heavy for most people. Daughter tried to wear a pair of for a bit and her neck hurt. They need to make lighter / more durable headsets.

Frankly, I find Dyson’s design edgy - almost cyberpunk. Something you would see in Blade Runner. I am an Apple head when it comes to design, but I have always felt the Airpods Max to be very disappointing. They look like earmuffs.

No, Bluetooth does not do lossless. I think headphones that wirelessly do lossless use WiFi.
No. There are wireless headphones out now that do lossless (CD quality) over Bluetooth, but it requires a specific technology stack to achieve.

Apple doesn't support it, of course :/

Do they make an annoying high-pitched whine like every other Dyson product?

They are the Apple of vacuums and hair design to most people I know.
Dysons sell well and are considered "top of the line" to people who have never tried any alternatives because they are pretty and they run well-produced ads featuring a charismatic spokesperson. Meanwhile boring brands like Shark get sold for half as much, outperform Dysons in nearly every way (except looks and maybe battery life), but aren't really all that pretty.

So yeah - Dysons are definitely the Apple of vacuums.

How do you write an entire article about a new product without mentioning how it gets its sound?

The word “Bluetooth” isn’t even mentioned once, nor is any clue regarding a possible wired analog input.
