Well, the pixel density is much higher than a normal LCD. While it is perhaps true that an Apple Cinema Display is less prone to defective pixels, they are larger pixels and therefore easier to manufacture.

Well, the pixel density is much higher than a normal LCD. While it is perhaps true that an Apple Cinema Display is less prone to defective pixels, they are larger pixels and therefore easier to manufacture.
Then people will whine about Apple having excessive margins, technical feasibility is always about cost though, most stuff is possible if you throw enough money at it.
