e13ctron aluminum case Full Review

One more thing I want to ask, anybody here.
Can someone make a photo of Gold Bottom, or Top ... both Matte and Polished ... but without a blitz on your cameras please ... that destroys the actual interpretation of real color.

looking for matt top, as mine is filled with scratches hope to get a 2nd hand ones. colour wise blue/black/light grey/purple all fine
 
Update

Tried the replacement set of liners, and still having big reception loss. I am going to return the case. On to the Vapor Pro... I think this is my last shot at an aluminum case.
 
i was in a mall today and saw an e13ctron with complete packaging. contacted Jacob right away and asked him if they have a distributor in bangkok that sells their case with complete packaging. turns out that its a KNOCK OFF!

sucks big time for e13ctron guys, they worked hard for it and now somebody just copied it and selling it.

it cost BHT2,900 less than $100. that's pretty cheap here in BKK for a real e13ctron, including shipping and custom tax. but for a knock off, that's expensive.

and by the way, its not huge. it actually look like the real thing. if Jacob didn't tell me its not theirs, i would have thought its the real thing. it looks very similar.

I have a new white iPhone 4 coming this week. I have been trying to find what might look good on that but so far cannot figure it very well.

I guess a polished chrome look but cannot see what it would look like in my mind. anyone have a white iphone and tried combos with pics?

I wouldn't use a black carbon back but if it came in white maybe!

Matte Black (GSM) and Polished Black (GSM) for Sale

Hello Everyone, I have been reading the forums since I got my iPhone 4 this past Christmas and have gained alot of useful information. As a matter of fact it was because of this particular thread that I purchased the e13ctron matte black (GSM) and because of my OCD bought the polished black as well, but never used. Now I am selling them both as I have switched back to the Apple Bumper (I just love it!)

Anyway I absolutely loved the matte black s4 and had no problems with it. I live in a strong AT&T coverage area and never saw any drops in bars; at most, maybe 2 to 3 db. Did not like the looks of the polished black and never used it. But I just like the Apple Bumper better (looks and feel). Anyway if anyone is interested in am selling the Matte Black, which was used for a little over a month and is in perfect condition; no scratches or marks, for $50.

I am selling the Polished Black, never used for $70.

I also have an e13ctron hex wrench that I will throw in for free to the first buyer. Shipping is also free, but I will only ship to the Continental United States.

Just noticed on the e13ctron website that the Latest News indicates that they Hybrid cases are shipping out next week. Anyone know anything about this?

As far as I've been told, they finished up production on them this weekend, and are getting ready to ship out.
 
omg the moment I've been waiting for!!!!

I can't wait for the hybrid back!!!

Then I have a clear aluminum back I will sell if anyone here is interested.
 
Good customer service

As I said, I had to return my e13ctron due to significant signal degradation. I didn't wait to take a chance on the hybrid back, as I had degradation even with only half the case on the phone. I installed a Vapor Pro today, and have had not even 1 decibel drop, so I don't think it was the phone.

I was very disappointed, because I really liked the look/feel of the case. I still highly recommend the case, and I can't wait to see pics of the hybrid, which I think will be even better for most folks.

On a personal note, I returned the case, and my USPS receipt showed delivered yesterday. Today, I had both a receipt from e13ctron, and a full deposit from them back to my PayPal account - including the shipping charges!

This is a 1st rate company. I had to return the case, and I still left the transaction a satisfied customer... Hats off to Jacob and crew.
 
just received an email and the hybrids are up on the site. only thing is there isn't an option to order just the back as of now..
 
Wonder if the finish of the plastic is a better match for the matte or the shiny (more of a satin in my opinion)?
 
Nice turnaround time.

I just got my e13tron s4 case in chrome (front & back). I ordered it Saturday, 14th of May and received it via Fedex on Wednesday, 25th of May.

Initial impressions on the customer service is awesome. I contacted the company at some random time and was greeted by an actual person on the other end. Very helpful in tracking down where my order stood in the processing. Definitely will do more business as I am a case/bumper/back plate junkie.

The product arrived in great fashion as it was well packaged and blemish-free.

I have as yet to install and test as I am doing an overhaul on the looks of my iPhone. I am presently running a silver ElementCase Vapor 4 with a silver, glassed sw-box back plate. I am expecting a new mirrored back plate. Imagine it: mirrored back plate and the chrome e13ctron s4 case. OH SO SHINY!!

Pics will definitely be posted once I alter the appearance.
