e13ctron aluminum case Full Review

Okay I couldn't resist, ordered the hybrid case with polished black chrome on the front and hybrid back, total with USPS shipping and tax to Cali came out to be $84.69!
Keeping fingers crossed that this case doesn't kill my reception like the original e13ctron case.

Problems with Atomic Diamondback Satin Silver order
Hey guys, If any of you is contemplating ordering this product from Atomic, you should be aware of the problems I've had so far. I ordered one of these on April 30th and was told that it would be sent to me by May 13th. Nothing! So I sent two emails to Atomic before I got a reply from customer service telling me that the company was at the mercy of the anodizers and that my case would be sent out by the end of the following week. And again, NOTHING! And not a peep from the company at this point about this latest delay. With shipping and handling, I paid $209.95 for this case and was hoping I'd have it by now to see how well it worked and review it for others who might be interested in purchasing it. The company adamantly claims the case WILL NOT interfere with the phone's signal, but I can't confirm this until I actually get it. I'm pretty certain my case won't be shipped this week either. In fact, I'm beginning to wonder just how long it will take to get it, or if I will? Fortunately, I made the purchase through PayPal and can file a claim if I never receive the product. At the time of this posting it will have been almost a full month since I placed my order and despite delivery promises at least twice, I've not received the case and no word from the company as to when it will ship. If and when it finally does arrive, I will post a review of the case here and let you know whether I think it is worth the expense and/or the wait! In the meantime, consider yourselves warned!

As promised, here are shots of the dock area for both the e13ctron s4 (hybrid in this case, but it's the same as the regular s4), and the Atomic Hybrid.

I wanted to see if the made2dock (slim plus) that fits the electron would fit my atomic or vapor cases. Looks like it will be ok.
Just got my new e13ctron hybrid back in, and it's even better than the original prototype that I've had for a few months now. The finish is now flawless, and matches the "polished" aluminum front exactly. It's much more solid than the prototype I've shown, as the shipping version integrates the liner/spacer into the hybrid back itself (so you don't need a spacer for the hybrid back, just the aluminum front). Once the hybrid back is installed, it's virtually indistinguishable from the aluminum front. I'll try to get some pics of it up after work today.
And for a change, a company (e13ctron) has priced their hybrid LOWER than their all aluminum version. Really can't beat that.
Thanks--sounds great. When you have a chance to drive around a little with the GPS on, please let me know if you seen an affect. I remember in your review you mention the lock is fast, but I would also be interested in accuracy. (On my Element Vapor Pro Spectra, the lock is very fast, but sometimes it will just jump to about 1/2 block off.)

That looks sweet! Is the blue and black matte or polished?
The above Hybrid looks nice, I don't understand why they don't place the screws at the back making a cleaner finish to the front.
I asked Jacob that exact question about the screws a few months ago and he said the screws were put on the front because they like the industrial look.
personally i like the screws in the front, when your holding your phone in your hand the last thing i want making rough edges is screw holes.
