e13ctron aluminum case Full Review

I asked them earlier this morning about the black chrome (since I also ordered one) and I was told they are expecting to get those in this afternoon so orders should go out either today or tomorrow.
am i able to cancel my order? have already paid for it but they are taking so long to ship it out!
you ordered it yesterday didnt you? just send them a email and if they didnt ship it yet i am sure they will refund you. it has only been one day since you said you ordered it on here

Relax, it's only been 24 hours. It's a great case and worth the wait. Besides, by the time you cancel, get a refund, and order from someone else, it will ultimately take longer...
I am just reading. Many people have good luck with this cases. My spectra navi is off like 5 city blocks and signal down 1 bar when instant case is on. Any body in manhattan with shis problm
Yep, as they promised, my order shipped today. Cautiously optimistic that I'll have it by this weekend but more than likely it'll be early next week.
i called up fedex to schedule for a saturday delivery. and when the customer service personnel clarified with me my shipping address, i was shocked that the address was wrong. it wasn't mine. i thought e13ctron must have wrote my address wrongly so i got the fedex personnel to change the address to the right one.
after hanging up, i went to my email to open up the mail sent by e13ctron which contains my tracking number to double confirm it. then i went into my account at e13ctron to check as well, and alas, the tracking number was different from the one in email which they sent to me.
so i called up fedex again and got them to revert back the address changes. and i double check with them regarding the other tracking number, and yes, that has my right address on it
jeez.

Just received my case, so far hybrid back is not affecting GPS or reception. I'll have the ultimate test in the office tomorrow, since the reception there is pretty poor.
My all aluminum e13ctron would only get occasional text messages and calls would go through about 50%. Data and GPS services never worked with the all aluminum case, curious to see how the hybrid back will hold up.

You emailed them on June 8, and on the 9th decided it was time to complain in a public forum? Try giving them a call. I've spoken with Jacob a few times since I placed my order and every time you can tell there's alot of stuff going on in the background and he's obviously working on getting our orders filled. My after-purchase customer service has been stellar. And stop ending all of your posts with exclamation points and frownie faces, it makes you sound like a troll...wait, are you a...err....

The only plastic parts are the liners that go inside the front and back pieces. I suppose if you were to bend them in half they would snap in two but there's absolutely no reason for anybody to do that (unless you like wasting money).
am very tempted to order a red/white combination after receiving my red/black.
but just wondering does the aluminium clear turns into a darker shade after a period of usage?
i hardly see anyone using matte red, been dying to see how it looks like on an iphone!
if u have matte red, can u put up a picture of it please!
and is the matte surface really rough or just a lil rough? the polished feels really smooth and i like it but always felt like it could slip out of my hand anytime
all in all, i love this case, it rocks!

Just got the black chrome top tonight. Pictures below with the polished red bottom and matte dark grey bottom. I didn't screw the case together as that would've been too much work. Apologies for the not-so-great quality, hopefully I'll have a chance to take more in natural light.

nice! is the chrome a fingerprint magnet? it looks pretty good with the red!
how does it feels when holding it together with the matte blue and chrome? will it feel uncomfortable? seeing how the chrome is really smooth while the matte is kinda rough...
Yeah the chrome attracts fingerprints but despite that I really like it. Between the red and matte grey I have to say that I actually kind of like the chrome with matte grey combo more. In terms of combining the chrome with a matte piece, it's not a bad feel (not really that rough). I think it's good because the matte piece provides some grip to balance the chrome.
