Have you played Goldeneye recently? Ugh... I wish I hadn't. Sullied my fond memories with it's clunkyness.

That's why I haven't. Some games really hold up well (FFVII, Mario 64) but yea. Goldeneye really doesn't. I'm half hoping they release it for the DS too, or at least the 3DS.
Just got back from a trip into town and PSP's are sold out everywhere. The last shop was selling off blue 3000's for £100 (30% off). New ones have to be announced tonight and the wallet is ready!

So 3DS sounds awesome, them graphics were pretty damn impressive too. Kid Icarus in 3D? YES. Can't wait for that... seriously I'll probably import a US one 😀. 3D photos too!
Zelda looked daft. Maybe it was the presentation but I'm not excited for that one.
Kirby looks beautiful too. Damn Nintendo. Just as I got bored of the Wii they give us this pretty good E3 and Mario Galaxy 2. 😀

agreed Nintendo totally shock me today I now have a list of Wii games to get instead of 1 every 5 months. I may have to invest in a DS again...

So they also announced Star Fox 64 3D AND MGS3 3D. Mind=blown.
Holy flamin hell I'm going to camp out for Star Fox. One of my fave games of all time and they're updating it to 3D. An excellent E3.
Your turn in half an hour Sony. Give us a PSP 4000 and have it in stores within the next 2 weeks and I'll love you forever.

I'm buying a 3DS! My opinion is that it looks GREAT! BRING ON MORE ZELDA PORTABLE!!! 🙂
I played the first Portal on my friend's PS3 the other week. I have it on my PC, where it plays and looks substantially better, anyways, for all of its faults of being a so so port with sluggish-controls, the gameplay was still in tact.

Well Sony's was a let down. They showed what, a few games that were great looking. No new hardware. PSN Plus ($50 a year for renting content until you stop subscribing). About 10 minutes dedicated to the PSP, yea after all that harking on about how the PS3 and PSP are developers favourites and the best things in the world too. Killzone 3 looked dull. Too much Move. No Team Ico. LBP2 is now one of those party minigame collections that everyone hates?
GT5 looks killer though. Nice of them to announce the US release date, what about everyone else?
3D is going to be big too. Shame that so few people have 3DTVs though, I'd imagine it will look outstanding in motion.
Who was that guy with the suit who came on for a few minutes to talk about "being a gamer"? He seemed quite popular but I've no idea who he is and I can't remember his name.

I wonder if Nintendo will port any GameCube games to it. I'd love to have a portable Wind Waker...
I'd say Nintendo probably had the strongest show this year, followed by Sony, followed by Microsoft.
Kinda let down by Sony, in particular by the lack of PSP2 (though I saw that coming), any new hardware at all, and more hd remake collections (Team Ico!!!). They did announce some good games, and I think their Move stuff was much more appealing to actual gamers than the Kinect stuff. (Not that I would buy either one...) Seems like Move has a somewhat solid software library coming up, at least.

Nintendo killed it, Sony smashed it up some more and Microsoft was left picking up the tiny parts left from the awesome that was Nintendo/Sony.
Nintendo = Other M, 3DS, Zelda, MGS: Snake Eater(naked story), kirby(excellent😀)
Sony = The bombshell that was Gabe Newell and Portal 2/Steam Cloud, Infamous 2, Sly Cooper collection, twisted metal and stealing a page out of MS books with the exclusive content nonsense.
MS = Gears 3 & Fable 3 looked great, Kinect commands looked great but the games looked horrible.

yeah I agree Wii/Sony tied it Steam on PS3 is gonna be great
MS had no games besides Gears and Reach Twisted Metal or Dead Space get game of the show. for my final results unless something gets announced later this week.

Wait, I think I missed this (I took a phone call during the conference). What was announced?
Gabe showed portal 2 and annouced steam would be coming to ps3 with cloud gaming etc.

No. He said the game would support Steam Cloud. So profile data would be uploaded to their servers. Steam (the store, friends list, community) is not coming to the PS3.

And on Wind Waker, where's MY Wii update with 1:1 controls and widescreen support? 🙁 But I'd gladly take a 3Ds version instead. 🙂
