what happened regarding lte issue is one reporter tried to take it into the middle of the ocean far away from any cell towers and immediately wrote it off. the rest of the reporters just echoed that sentiment. the truth is something entirely different i am sure.

That red dot though is off putting somewhat. But regardless, easily a nice upgrade from the first Generation Apple Watch owners.

but, exactly like what the blue dot did for Blaupunkt.
i think this is what apple had in mind, and i think it works.

Thanks for the compliments on the edition. I really like it. I'm having problems with LTE but it's my fault because I didn't have the right password. But got that taken care of. Good news- I changed my plan to like 1/4 my normal bill. But bad news- LTE is going to take a bit to activate because att is slammed due to the amount of Apple watches. :(

Hey! If you’ve never used an Apple Watch before you’re in for a real treat. I’ve had a series 0 for a while and it’s just such a huge part of my day to day life now. I can just leave my phone anywhere in the house and take calls on the watch when they come in, just being notified of stuff like that is great.

It also made me disable social media notifications and that too made my life so much better, I find myself not checking my social media messages often now, which in turn makes me not go on sites as often as I use to. I like how everything snowballed in this positive way, to the point that the one day I forgot to wear my Apple Watch my wrist felt empty of it’s heavy accessory. Having to dig my phone out just to check the time was irritating too. What a lovely device this is. I hope all you newcomers enjoy it too.

Oh! The pearl one! I’ve always liked the black steel models but I reckon the pearl will be my next one. It looks so nice in photos.

coolest combination: white ceramic+red dot.

may i ask if you considered the grey ceramic?
i think grey ceramic+red dot might be also nice as well.
I didn't. At all. I like that it's super subtle in grey. But I think it looks too much like the sport. I like that the one I got is white because it doesn't look as ritzy as the ss gen 1 had. In fact I think it looks like plastic. And I really like that it's Apple white

I upgraded from the S0 gray aluminum to the black steel S3 w/LTE. BIG difference!

First, the black steel looks very impressive, like one solid piece of shiny black. It is noticeably heavier than my aluminum S0, but I think I'll get used to it. The light weight of the S0 was one of my favorite features.

The speed is absolutely perfect! The S0 has always been sluggish, and the S3 update meets all my expectations.

I activated LTE via AT&T. Had some issues with my password, but eventually got it all sorted. The few test calls I made were successful, the other party was impressed with the sound quality.

Apple did publicly respond to the LTE bug btw that causes it to NOT WORK and has promised a fix. Apple's response was on national news so it's not like it did not happen.

Timmy has some explaining to do.

It’s called a bug and they occasionally happen. Get over it. The Series 3 Watch is great.

What watch face is that in the OP? Been trying to configure my watch like that but can't find it. Is that Utility? Chronograph?

"We've already seen Apple Watch Series 3 reviewsfrom the media, but opinions shared by regular customers can provide additional insight. We've rounded up some of the comments below, which we've edited very slightly for clarity."

This is the most ridiculous statement I've read in a while. These products are not made for the media. They're made for the general public. Shaking my head.

But bad news- LTE is going to take a bit to activate because att is slammed due to the amount of Apple watches. :(

I suppose that’s one advantage to the Oct 5 delivery date for my Nike+ Watch. Hopefully the activation rush will have slowed down by then!

I got my Series 3 Stainless Steel Space Black GPS + Cellular today. Color me impressed.

The build quality is outstanding, everything runs smooth and Watch OS 4 seems well thought out. The Store experience was also excellent, with the people there both knowledgeable and enthusiastic - it helps a lot when the people handling the product are excited about it. And, I've been wearing it and using it for 14 hours and it still has 68% charge.

I received my Apple Watch Series 3 this afternoon and must say that I am completely stunned. Coming from an Apple Watch Series 0 which was a nightmare to use this feels like what the Apple Watch experience should have been from the beginning. It is lightning fast and very responsive. Siri really is instant and apps load sooo quickly. No more waiting and then getting sick of it and continuing on the phone. Honestly, I didn't expect such a big improvement compared to the S0. The upgrade was so worth it. So happy!

I couldn’t agree more! I didn’t realize how much the slowness of my series 0 limited my use of the Watch until now. Here I was so excited for LTE but it may be the speed improvements that I end up liking best about this Watch.

Agreed. I like the rectangular design. But a round variant would be appreciated and perhaps an offering of a larger display as well, but in a slightly thinner form factor. Aside from that, I would and many others would like to a see Watch Face store or addtional Watch faces.

People have invested too much in bands.

I can honestly say WatchOS 4 has significantly slowed down a LOT of simplistic interactions that shouldn’t have and wasn’t slow before. It’s a BAD notion to give to users!!

The watch face at the top of the article is exclusive to Apple Watch 3, right? I don’t see it in Watch OS 4.
