Early iPhone 3.0-Enabled Push Notification Apps

Reportedly they do - they wanted to get the 3.0 compatibility update out first (they were reportedly working out a big bug that took higher priority). My guess their thing was compatibility was more important than adding features.

From what I heard, there will be another big update in another week or so.

Where exactly are you "hearing" these things? I'm not questioning the validity of your comments, just curious. There was a big bug in posting to a link or just making a comment and then it not actually posting just getting caught in limbo, is that what they were fixing.

Also, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE could they transfer over all the people I've "hid" from my news feed to my iPhone Facebook app, it would be so great. I don't see them on my desktop, but I do on the app. If you do know someone on the inside, pass that one along PLEASE.
 
My AP News app has pushed about eight headlines to me today. It's nice to see some improvement
 
I've gotten a total of two alerts from AP Mobile. They were about 3 hours late too.

Oh well, I'll keep waiting I guess.
 
Beejive with push is now available. You need to launch the app first to enable push. Then you got to setting and you'll see a new section call "Notifications". There you can turn push on and off or go into each app that uses push and adjust the sounds, alerts, and badges on and off.

Works pretty good. Lightning fast at home over wifi. There was one hangup where it didn't push the text but the text was also missing when I opened that app. Need to do more testing. Very happy so far.
 
Both versions of AIM have push too. Anywho, I had to restart iTunes before it showed it, but BeejiveIM has indeed been updated.

My AIM has immediately been working as soon as I downloaded and restarted it, but I have yet to receive a single push notification from AP. Are some people still not receiving any?

Just got my first AP notification, but only one so far ... is there a way to select which categories I want to receive alerts from? (other than just having them on my front page?)
 
IM+ w apple push is up

Seems less buggy than beejive too. My MobileMe name won't login though... Oh well I don't use it for IM's anyways.
