Some of the models were 4-6 weeks right out of the gate. Like I don't think a single person who ordered a 42mm SS with Link got an earlier ship date than 4-6 weeks.

Mine was the black link. I guess that makes sense. I feel a little better. Thanks.

I got May 13 - 27 for both of my Stainless Steel with Link band watches. Ordered at 12:01, confirmation at 12:01-02

That had better move up, as I saw in some other places in the forums some users bought the link band separately and will get said link bad faster than I will get my actual watch. Here's to the ship date moving up, or those standalone link band orders not getting priority over those of us who went all in on the real SS + Link band model.

Well, I cant complain about apple or their process through the app store. It was seameless.

My experience, however, was that my Credit Union denied the charge. After all the steps I took to ensure the funds were available and the card was setup and functional. Had to wait until 8am EST for their service center to open, 30 minutes for them to remove the lock on the card. They said it wasnt labeled as fraud just a "general decline". I told the lady it cost me months in waiting and she knew I was referring to the :apple: Watch.

Now, both my orders are pending delivery....in june. Le sigh.

This happens to me all too often when making Apple purchases.

Woke up 15 min before midnight and conveniently fell right back to sleep. I woke up 90 minutes later only to order a 42mm Space Gray Watch with a estimated June delivery date. Oh well....

Needed 3, ordered 6 because the app went live before the website and since i had gift cards i wanted to use i re-ordered the 3 i did on the app with the website.

5 of the 6 were 4-24 orders and i messed up one of the gift card orders so i cancelled both of those and left with 4.

All the orders were within 20 minutes, 3:02, 3:03, 3:08 3:10, 3:12 and 3:16.

The 3:12 order was for a space grey sport model and it got a 4-6 week ship date which is pretty crazy since i ordered it 11 minutes after the order process went live, i don't think it was possible to get the space grey on the 24th unless you used the app.

So yeah, i have two orders for the watch i want, one on Credit Card at 3:02 and one on gift card at 3:12.

I could/should cancel the extra order but the uncertainty with ship times is making me hang on to it for now.

Why did you order 6 watches? Are you really going to keep all of them? Just curious.
From what I read here, it looks like you ordered 6 because the app went live?

You could have just did what we did. When the delayed delivery date was apparent, we checked out our other options and found a quicker route to get the link bracelet in our hands. I still had my orders completed before 3:10 even after experimenting.

Why would you wish upon others that their orders be delayed to make yourself feel better?

Need 3 watches and i wanted to pay with a 3000$ gift card i have, can only use gift cards on apple.com not the app.

So I ordered as soon as i could with the app then duplicated the orders on apple.com went that went live.

Unfortunately one of the apple.com orders was wrong and one of them was 4-6 weeks.

I cancelled those and still have 4, probably going to cancel one of those maybe two.

When I hit 'place order' on the app, my screen said April 24th, but at 3:05AM EST, I received an email stating 5/13-24. Quite annoying.

I'm hoping there will be some store stock on the 24th, but the store manager had not heard one way or the other.

Sorry, waiting until summer for them to be in stores is ridiculous.

Why should a piecemeal order precede an actual full order? It's the highest end of the standard watch, yes it should go ahead of someone just buying the band alone. Why do you think stand alone bands should be shipped before full watch sets are out?

It's madness. But sorry the reality is the more expensive model should take priority, that's life.

Via the iPhone Apple Store App at 3:02am, 42mm SS with black sport and 42mm Sport with black sport, both confirmed for 4/24 - 5/8.

I have them saved in favorites and Apple Pay setup. I was able to buy them both in less than 30 seconds each (did two separate orders to be safe).

This exactly mirrors my experience.

This makes zero sense. For whatever reason, the supply chains were such that this is how Apple decided to ship. You had the option to pick a different model and order the bracelet separately to prioritize speed. You didn't. I (and others) did, to get what we wanted. THAT's life.

There's no sense in explaining this to you is there? Regardless, I have a pretty good feeling this will be adjusted so actual models can start hitting the street. Your higher buyers and end users are not going to "piecemeal" the experience together. It's a high end thing, you don't seem to get it.

Now if you can recompose yourself, and try not throwing capital letters into your posts like a small child a discussion can be had. Until then you simply cannot be reasoned with, nor shall I waste any further time with attempting to reply to you.

I ordered mine on the app and didn't get a confirmation email because it made me enter my email address and in my rush I entered the wrong email (off by one letter), but under my orders on the apple store page it says 4/24-5/8 am I to assume that that is correct?

You do realize the the watch comes with the band in the box, not packaged separately. Anyone who looked at the ship dates could say okay I'll spend 50 bucks MORE and buy the watch with the sport band AND a link band as well. That's more of a full order. You could have done the same thing so don't complain that others noticed a work around and didn't. Why should the people who noticed this, and spent more money, get less priority than yourself?
