Mine went through at the same time yet I have a May 13-24 delivery date. So annoying.
Ordered sport white, 4/24-5/8 ship date and sport black with 4-6 week ship date. Ordered around 3:07.

At .02, .04 and then .16. Got early delivery on ##1 and 3 Clasic band in 38 and 42. Got a 4 to 6 week deluvery on space gray sport watch.
Have cancelled the 2 42mm ones. My wrist is just too small for the 42mm and was afraid Apple might cancel one or more because I had 3. But early rising order fill went smoothly, as May I say did the 2 cancellations.

Went to sleep at 12 am EST, woke up at 2:45, got on the preorder page on the app as soon as it opened, but wasted too much time making sure my address was good... Preordered my 38mm Space Gray Sports Watch at 3:05 and got the May 14 - 27 time window... Then I wasn't able to sleep until 5:30 and woke up at 6:30 for work. The night was short.
I keep a small hope that shipping dates get pushed up to April 24 in the coming week like some people said in other threads, but if not, so be it. I already waited 8 months for it, I can wait 1 more month. Pretty excited to get that watch!

Don't feel too badly. I was online with my iPhone, iPad and iMac trying to jump on it as soon as the Apple Store went live. I had everything I needed (to place the order) at hand. I think it (Apple Store) finally came online on my iPhone (Apple Store App) about 3:03. I just pulled up my favorite, saved earlier, and ordered quickly. I ended up on the May 13 - May 27 delivery time window. If the Apple Store had come up sooner (like 3:01) I might have had a shot at that first delivery time window.
Got the 42mm space grey sport to be delivered between the 24th an the 8th.
Order confirmation is at 3:02 am eastern time.
Ordered with the app and the watch favorited. Super quick and the store still wasn't loading on my MacBook when I was done.

kept reloading order page at 12:01 am PST and was able to order at 12:04 am - one black stainless 38mm ... delivery in June.

Some of the models were 4-6 weeks right out of the gate. Like I don't think a single person who ordered a 42mm SS with Link got an earlier ship date than 4-6 weeks.
