Also, when selling hardware it really helps up the value if you include spare parts. So whether you keep or sell, the spares offer a benefit.Yeah, better to have spare parts or replacement at hand than desperately need them!

Fixing stuff is really satisfying.
I agree, but the original board is fine. I just like having spares, so if/when things go awry I already have all the resources I need. It's a military thing I can't escape.![]()
For me, it's a common sense thing. If you enjoy using something then you should invest in the materials that will allow you to continue using it over the years.
I think I have one of these kicking around here somewhere too.HP LaserJets 2200
Has anyone seen Quad G5 go for decent prices on ebay? All I've seen is ridiculous pricing (which never seem to sell, of course.)
Wow. I'll keep looking!I've seen local pickup only ones at good prices - one recently with Apple monitor at under £40.
I have a white 4th-gen 20GB iPod coming any day and plan to replace its HDD with a CompactFlash card (no SD as apparently Rockbox can have issues with those and I plan to run Rockbox on it) as well as putting in a new battery.I always like that chunky ipod. I also modded mine with a 64GB SD card years back, and replaced the battery.

EDIT: And besides, the iPod mini is thin - at least compared to the ridiculously fat 1st and 2nd gen white iPods![]()
I want to get my hands on a 3rd-gen too because of these red glowing "buttons". I've noticed they can get pricey though, more so than the 4th-gen.My fav iPod is the white 3rd gen with the red LEDs and my fav nano is the black 1st gen.
As was virtually every girl/woman back then...I think she was rocking a HTP razr so had both in her purse.
Nice setup. Love that monitor. I have the perfect era correct beige serial trackball. Would crush on that set upDon't know if I'd call it a bargain, but I recently got everything together for this setup from eBay.

I don't know, where this picture was maid. But the Wolf on cup is well-known character from soviet cartoon series, "Ну, погоди" ("wait for it"... in English). Pictures of sailors on the wall - looks like they were taken from some soviet newspaper, too...Don't know if I'd call it a bargain, but I recently got everything together for this setup from eBay.

It is indeed a Ну, погоди! coffee mug. I've always liked that cartoon and a friend bought that for me. The newspaper clipping is a local newspaper article from 1942 showing my grandfather, his brothers, and several of his cousins as they all joined the US Navy and went off to war.I don't know, where this picture was maid.
