So, Hi... I'm Blake
Anyways, just for some fun I posted my brand new (purchased yesterday) iPad Air up on eBay with Flappy Bird installed on it (proof you can still download the game if you previously bought it).
Now, I posted it as more of a joke for a friend as he thought it was ludicrous people would pay extra just for the game. I have seen one iPad Air 16GB wifi only sell for $2,000 with Flappy Bird (the buyer had 0 feedback so there is a strong possibility it was fake).... either way, I posted it as a joke.
I thought to myself, meh, if someone is willing to pay me $1,000 I'll take it, and laugh at my friend all at the same time.
I originally downloaded the game about a week ago on my iPad Mini (which I have since sold). I then bought an iPad Air and re-installed the game via my "purchased" games in the app store. It's definitely worth noting that I CANNOT install the game on my iPhone via the App Store "purchased" apps, I can only do this on my iPad. No clue why.
eBay needs to stoping trying to control what I do!
Disclaimer:
To be fair, sell a ton of crap on eBay which a lot of folks find "lame". Like the Fifty Three Pencil, I purchased a TON of them at launch, kept 1 for myself, sold about 8 so far all for over 3x the purchased price. I mean hell, if I can net $100+ on each pencil, I'm super happy with that all for doing nothing. If I can buy an iPad Air for $500, and sell it for $1,000 because it has a free app on it, I'd do it in a heart-beat (am currently working on a work-around for eBay's terms and will be re-listed for a 24 hour run for some run to see if I can nab any bids).
