eBay instant sale? Good option?

No one has mentioned if they want original packaging or not... Does ebay charge any fees on a instasale? How about paypal?

I put my 64 gb up for auction but im about to just take the 350. Its in perfect condition (got a warranty replacement yesterday) id have to sell it for at least $420'ish to make $350, thats after fees and headaches.

BUT SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME IF THEY WANT ORIGINAL BOX AND IF THERE ARE ANY FEES AT ALL DOING AN INSTA SALE. THANK YOU.

No fees at all, and since they don't mention anywhere about wanting the original box, I think you'd be fine without it. Just make sure to include the charger if you checked the box saying you would include it.

Biggest thing for me is not having to worry about someone from the "I can't live with a scratch on my phone" thread buying my phone, finding a scratch, initiating a PayPal claim, and holding my funds hostage over it...

Never ever sell electronics where condition matters on the bay. You will one day get stung, and they side with the buyer in 99.999 % of cases (I believe that is the actual statistic).

Once instant sale is done, it's done.

That's worth 100 bucks by itself.

Sadly, eBay has devolved from a garage sale for smart folks into just a reseller of new goods paradise (filled with scam buyers too). It is what it is, but their rules hurt the sellers they used to cater to in every way possible. They've changed their business model. It's sad.

Even if you describe your phone as "terrible" it may be more "terrible" than the buyer expects... and then you're in for weeks of angst and loss of $$$. God help you if they claim you sent a brick... And don't get me started on feedback...

Sell privately or use an instant sale.

Ebay is a ripoff

I sent my Iphone to Ebay Instant Sale.
Never saw it again, never got paid.
Have Fedex tracking number and they say they got it but call again some other time.
One month later...no money, no phone.
EBay will have nothing to do with Instant sale!
