EE iPhone 6 pre order [UK]

Here's hoping.I'm in a similar boat, but upgraded through ChitterChatter (Basically like a CPW but exclusive to EE and T-Mobile) and they (Both CC and EE) said that if you are upgrading, then when your new phones comes and the new plan is activated, you will go onto a 30 day rolling contract and only pay for what you used. So say its £30 a month and you have to wait 5 days, you'll pay (I think) £5 extra.
just got off the phone with EE and the women told me to ignore the text saying 28days till delivery, it'll be 7-10days from the 19th as I ordered on the 13th. Still not acceptable really, the reason i pre ordered was to get it on release day, i might as well just cancel and visit my local CPW!
Same boat here, ordered on Monday and no text as of yet. Rang EE and the rather clueless woman on the other end of the phone reckons that the latest we should get a text is 7 days after the preorder date. So Monday. Then apparently we should get texts every 7 days after that until the phone arrives.
As to why people who ordered the day after are getting are receiving their texts and phones first? She has absolutely no idea. Not a clue. All she knows is that my order has gone through and their texting policy.
Great Service from EE lakeside placed my preorder in store, received a call Friday asking which model i wanted last Friday. Today received a call asking what time i would be collecting my phone and then received an email confirming. Cant ask for better service from them
Despite getting the 21 day text from EE yesterday, I've just received a text from DPD to say mine will be with me tomorrow. Fingers crossed!
I'm "moving" from T-Mobile so whenever I sign in it pushes to onto showing my T-Mobile account.
I don't think the EE account will kick in until you receive the phone and activate it.
Preordered in Amersham store, just phoned them to ask if its in and they said nope and have no idea when it will be....
The EE website is listing them as in stock and delivered within 1 day, questioning wether its worth cancelling and just buying it from there.

No way, that's crazy. I also preordered at the Amersham store. Turned up at 9am - I think I was the first in. The guy spent a long time at the back of the store and told me they didn't have it. They only had one preorder come in which was a 128gb (unsure if 6+ or not). Said they had 6 preorders in total. Surely 6 could've been fulfilled easily, considering I preordered with deposit of £10 last week and was told to come in today.

Just received my phone! But I believe this looks like a brand new contract, it says nothing other than how to activate the new sim that arrived with the phone, it even has its own phone number on it. My EE account page is still showing the older contract.
What should I do about this? I assume I can just cancel the older contract and somehow transfer the telephone number to the new sim/contract?

placed my order friday night 12th, for a ip+ 64gb money was taken out my account received text saying it could be up to 21 days. but now my ee account is showing £289.99 credit which is what i paid for the phone WHAT THE HELL!!

I ordered mine (iPhone 6+, 64GB, Space Grey) last Friday at 11:30am in store and was told it would be here for the 19th. They rang me on the 18th and said they had it and arranged for me to come in at 10am on the 19th.
I went in today and he brought out the wrong model! It was a 16Gb model. I told him it was wrong and he checked my order sheet and said it was indeed a fault on their side. He said he didn't have any spare and also checked with the other EE store in town and they also had non. I'm pretty mad about it all especially after paying £10 deposit. He said he would ring on Monday or Tuesday with more information. I really hope I don't have long to wait, although after seeing the display models I was also like alot of people unsure if the 6+ was too big but I'm going to stick with it and hope after a few hours use I will be use to it.

Which colour did you go for? I ordered a space grey yesterday and was told I'd recieve it within 7 days but they had silver in stock for delivery on Monday. By the look of the website it looks like that would also be the case for the gold.
Meanwhile I got a confirmation email and no text. Seems EE can't seem to grasp preordering a product. Perhaps they have some 6+ in stock, perhaps they don't, do they even know? Maybe. They're going to keep us loyal paying customers in the dark though.
