I'm experiencing this same issue (see here: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/very-slow-eject-time-for-new-pendrive.2036764/) but with ElCapitan. There're no /etc/authorization nor /etc/authorization.deprecated files. ElCapitan was fresh-installed. The same pen drive ejects instantly with SnowLeopard. Any ideas?
