That video tempted me to fire Skyrim up, starting a new playthrough.
I'm early on in the game, just now heading to the graybeards. I'm still a very low level, and I got jumped by a dragon, and a sabertooth tiger - I lasted all of 3 seconds, lol
One thing that has struck me about this game compared to Fallout 4 and Starfield is the sheer size. For instance, I went into Bleak Barrows, and got the dragonstone. Its part of the main quest, but the sheer depth of the cave is amazing. Starfield may have a larger 'universe" (size of the game area), but it cannot hold a candle to Skyim's immense size and depth, and that's what doomed that game.
I'm walking to Ivardstead to start my trek up the mountains and its a long walk from whiterun, and you're rewarded to just poke around on your journey. That's what is missing in Starfield, you have to fast travel to a solar system, fast travel to a world, land and you get one small patch to walk around. There's a tiny number of POIs but overall there lacks depth.
Having a good time, When the time comes I may side with the blades this time around
