I second the motion to stop deleting threads needlessly. The chroma and the pro are different cases. At the very least, we need the Vapor Pro thread resurrected, please mods, cheers.

I figured as much based on their past experiences. Also my order number is in the low 39000 something. Don't remember exactly an really don't want to log into that site.

@Austin M.

I agree they are trying to fix things up in house. With that said, from the 2 testing agencies and 1 ad agency I have talked to they haven't sent any review units out at all just a couple prototypes. These particular POCs that I have are pretty in the know and are my hook ups for free stuff. Whenever the youtube "reviewers" are getting stuff my contacts usually already have it, hence the reason I have usually tried and used the newest cases before most people.

Not saying they aren't trying to change their ways, I hope they are actually but I wouldn't get my hopes up for a timely delivery of a "review" unit. The only people they may send review units out to are those really high subscribers on youtube or those that caused a fuss over the first Vapor version) who will just do a typical promotional video which they will claim as a review.

Alright, I do agree with everything you said there.

I really want to give these guys my money but they just point blank refuse to respond to a simple sales enquiry!

I was going to order a Pro and asked about shipping....still waiting for a reply

You'd think these things were $10 the way they get on

I'm thinking of getting the nickel version, but can you buy with without paypal and just use your CC details?

Yeah mine shipped Yesterday and I got mine in today. Been sick all day, but I did get it opened. Haven't put it on the phone yet but did snap a few shots of the the weird box it comes in and some of the case. The there was the pretty cool zip pouch and tool to install that it came with along with a weird red back ziplock for the Carbon Fiber Back. It is the same one that comes with the other Vapor 4 versions.

Overall it feels solid and has a matte style finish which I really like. When I get around to it, I'll get it on the phone sometime this week. Waiting for my camera to come it that was shipped out today.

The case doesn't seem worth it buying anymore at such a high price with the iphone 5 close by. I would have loved to rock the nickel or even the vapor pro, but it's too much money to spend of something that will only last me 4 months. I just hope element will have their cases up to speed when the new iphone comes out.

Got my Vapor Pro

So I received my Vapor Pro yesterday while at work. I opened my box up this morning when I came home from work and must say that the case is beautiful like the other vapors.
Now I have owned the original vapor, e13ctron, atomic hybrid ,fusionwerkz, and as usual the Element case stands above all in workmanship. Here the important part, there does not appear to be any significant signal loss.
I was a little worried because all the others except for the hybrid caused me signal loss some worse then others but so far my phone is showing an 81 in my home which was only ever possible before with the atomic hybrid or the apple bumper. Which really surprised me now this is only in my home have not tried it in the real world yet but my home never gave me a good signal with any of the other aluminum cases.
I was also surprised to see that the case was pretty much the same size as the original vapor its actually not as long as the old vapor the width is about the same it is just a little and I mean only a little thicker then the old one which is a plus because it better for laying down on a table.Have not really used GPS yet will update later when I use it more.
If I have one complaint it would be the screws they are a little more difficult to put on and take off and of course the price but I really liked the vapor and wanted to give this one a chance. So far so good.

My Vapor Pro just came a little while ago.

Initial thoughts....

OMFG it's nice.

No signal loss at all right now - it may even be improving mine.

It fits and feels amazing.

I'll have a initial thoughts video up tomorrow most likely.

Ok, so I got my sick self out of bed and finally got the Pro on my phone.

Wow. It feels like an AR15 with zero loss in signal. Now it doesn't make it better either but it does stabilizes it. In my house I run anywhere from 86 to 99 without a case and my signal is now a solid 87 - 89. It has not gone anywhere else.

Wi-fi is fine and bluetooth plays fine to my stereo. GPS is still off though. It is still like 3 blocks away from my house as my other Vapors are. Oddly it off in the other direction which is kind of funny. Good news is that when I went outside it corrected itself almost immediately so it appears it is just inside.

I'll have to use it a little more but this may be the one. Size wise it is only slightly bigger than the Vapor 4 but only in a couple of places. The sides are thinner except for the bottom left corner and the top where the power button is. That actually makes it easier for me to hit it. I always felt the iPhone 4 was a little too small but it feels great now. It is lot thinner on bottom and I was able to get both my old and newer Apple chargers in there. Haven't tried my 3rd party ones yet.

Earhole isn't as deep either and is slightly bigger around. It fit my Beats, Skullcandys, obviously the Apple ones, but what was a big shock was that my Astro A40s actually fit. That plug is pretty big and wouldn't even fit into my Candyshell.

Oh, one big no no. DO NOT PUT ON THE CARBON FIBER BACKPLATE!!!. I just put it against the back of the phone, without the adhesive, and it started to immediately drop my signal. It actually touches the case so that is a bad thing.

I have added some more pictures of the inside of the case and a comparison to the original Vapor and the Atomic. http://www.flickr.com/photos/60232885@N08/sets/72157626060250951/

My camera is in transit. Hopefully it gets here either tomorrow or Monday.

Side-note: The color is actually awesome. Matte Black and a dark bronze but almost black. It looks good. Also the Verizon iPhone fits in there no problem with full access to the mute switch. Didn't check reception since my girl took her phone with her but she did let me try it on and it fit fine obviously.

Just saw your YouTube review, the case looks great. I would think about it, but I have the CDMA iPhone. Watching the clip though, I don't see any reason this wouldn't fit. Any thoughts from people who have it? The cutout for the buttons looks big enough, and I like the look of the 3 channels on the other side...

Edit: just read the other post that said it fits fine... Sorry.

Questions... I'm wanting to order a case but am choking on the price a little. Does anybody have any discount promo codes for at least free shipping or maybe 5% - 10% off? I would really appreciate it.

I asked this same question in an email to Element this week. Their reply was… "yes it will fit, BUT, they experienced some reception issues with the CDMA phone in the At&T Vapor Pro case, which they attributed to the different antenna configuration. They are redesigning the case and tuning it specifically for the Verizon iPhones. Due out later this month or early April. Don't flame the messenger! Take care.
