I never called you a liar but you can not back up your story what so ever so it just makes me wonder. You act like everyone is having problems with this case but really it's you and one other person compared to the thousands they have sold. Sorry man, your story just don't hold water with me.

Element Vapor Case

Wow. Lots of opinions on here now. Which was the point I was trying to make before. My issue was with people knocking a case they hadn't tried personally, without any data to back it up, to push the product they liked personally to other users.
We all live in different areas, and clearly these cases all perform differently depending on where you live, carrier etc. So I think the best we can hope to do is report on our own experiences (including the more experienced reviewers), and hope for the best.
I have a CDMA iPhone in a congested area. I bought atomic, hated the design of the composite part, and returned it. I bought e13ctron and loved the design, but it had significant signal degradation, and saw a real-world effect on my phone's performance. I am having a replacement shipped to me, and if it is not better, that case gets returned too. I will then try the Vapor Pro.
I use all the reviews on here as guides, but we all know these are opinions, and moreover, opinions limited to 1 user's experience.
Best of luck to us all, as the search for a suitable aluminum case is proving difficult for everyone. Congrats to those who have had success already.

you keep saying $150. It's $130 now.
It blows my mind you get worse results from the Vaper Pro than the Vapor 4. It's not being narrow minded to not be able to understand that. One is completely surrounded with aluminum the other is maybe 80% surrounded. Maybe the installation of the Pro let the case aluminum touch the antenna or the insulators didn't separate them. Anyway I'm not going to comment anymore. This is getting to the point when the Moderators will start deleting things or worse ban us.
I was in contact with Paul at Element today. They sent me a email about combining the 2 orders I placed so I could save 15 bucks on my shipping charges. looks like they are gearing up to ship here shortly. I don't think it will be like last summer. Anyone else remember that bucket o fun. Lol

Lol, here we go again. My friend ordered the case and I saw it in action. My friends/relatives use me as a reference for anything to do with the iPhone 4. One of them saw my Satin Nickel case and how much I loved it, so he ordered the latest Vapor Pro version for himself. He had read my blog review on the Vapor 4 and asked me to conduct the Signal test since he did not feel like dealing with signal issues. The moment he saw the -99dB signal (and worse readings), he decided to send it back.

I'm gonna give my 2 cents again. it's been about six months since I chimed in on this greatest of debates. I live in Canada and bought an unlocked iPhone 4 directly from the apple store. I was with Rogers for years and noticed signal degradation over time before I installed my Vapor. After installing my Vapor my phone went from 3 bars to gsm. I was like what the eff!!!!!
I switched over to Bell, another wireless provider with the same Iphone 4 and my phone doesn't go below 4 bars unless Im incased in concrete. 80% of the time I have 5 bars and 0 problems ( Yes, that is with my Vapor 2nd gen, not the pro version on my Iphone ) I use a set of sennhiser Bluetooth headphones on a daily bases and walk with them outside and don't encounter any skips or breaks in my music. Wifi download is 13 Meg and upload is 1.5 meg.
It all boils down to this, if you have a crappy signal then wrapping it in a condom with eff your signal. If you are getting 4 bars more often than not, go ahead and buy one. Believe people who use and test the product. I have owned 4 2nd gen Vapors so far.I placed my first order last June and have just ordered 3 of the Vapor pro spectras and I'm looking very forward to getting them. 99% of the people here are electronic enthusiast and want to steer you in the right direct because we rely heavily on reviews to help us make our own decisions.

Totally agree! Except I honestly think this case will work no matter what kind of signal you have.

That looks to be true according to what I've read and seen on YouTube. I just can't attest to that myself because I haven't had a chance to try the pro version yet. I will run a test in different areas with my GF's vapor and my new pros when they get here. Larry had lots of good things to say a out it and Larry is a Solid reviewer IMHO.
If these are both for your phone you might have ordered the silver black instead that way you would have 4 Colour combinations instead of just two.
Not being an a hole it just that I found you never really know what these things really look like until they are in hand. They haven't shipped yet it seems so it would be easy to email them to make a change. I've been back and forth with them over the past few days and they have gotten back to me very quickly. Just a thought.
Well the all silver is going on my white iphone. The orange is going on my black one. Silver looks awesome on white and that's really the only color I like on white, black looks like an oreo. So that is reason I picked those colors. If I don't like the orange I will exchange it for all black for my black phone.
I sincerely hope they release the new case in the Nickel finish. That would be an instant purchase for me.
Ha got ya. The white IPhone is a whole new ball game.I think red/silver would look really sharp on a white iphone as well. Well, I'm sure we will both post pics so everyone can see how the phone looks with the different Colour combos. I haven't been able to convince myself to buy a white one. Not when it's 780 bucks a pop.
Well I just got my email from Element saying my order has shipped and I have overnight shipping so hopefully they will be here tomorrow.
