Element Vapor Case

Awesome pics. Can't wait to see the Silver/Silver on the black phone. Digging the red too. And maybe I am the only 1, but the blue intrigues me as well. Waiting to re-test the e13ctron, but again, good to know this may be a backup option. Let's have some signal reports MRF'rs (that sounded dirty). I will try the e13ctron Saturday, and if there is no improvement, will order the Pro in time for the free shipping offer Sunday.


I just can't bring myself to buy more than 1 case though :eek:
 
Alright guys, here are the pics of the all silver case on the black phone as well as the orange and silver case on the black phone. They both look awesome with black as well. So if anyone was on the fence about getting silver I think these pictures will probably cost you a few bucks. Here you guys go.

The red/black combo seems to be nicer than the red/silver, really leaning towards the former right now..

Pity the former doesnt come with the clear polymer cap..

I paid less than 75$ includuing shipping for the AR-15V, and even less for the Satin Nickel since it was lightly used.

Once again, lets get it straight:

Vapor 4 -99dB
Vapor Pro -99dB and worse
Naked iPhone -82dB
Element's Customer Service is crap. (Thats why i bought my cases on ebay. Plus I got a nice discount ;))
Satin Nickel tarnishes badly, but I love the individuality the tarnishing offers.

Moral of the story : If you live in an area with weak reception Vapor 4 and vapor Pro are NOT recommended.

Yep,... that's why i sold my Vapor and lost $100. What's the point when reception is so bad that u sounded like darth vader when Vapor case is on?
 
I did not have very good luck with my regular vapor but the Vapor Pro is a whole other story and a completely different case. It's made differently and reacts differently than the old case. It performs much much better that the old vapor's. They are not really even comparable.

Well I got my shipping notice. My 3 cases are on the way. We will see how long it takes for these bad boys to make it to canada. Don't anybody hold their breath. I have a order currently being held up at Canadian customer for a zag sparq 2.0 for no apparent reason. Wtf customs!if they mess with my element order I might defect.

Don't do it. I've been considering defecting to canada. Just got my case though.

I meant defecting to somewhere good. Lol. Just kidding. I meant the US. Easy for you to say. You just got your case :cool: please try and post some pics so you can share with the geekly masses. By the time my picks are up everyone will be like, meh big deal. What's the latest craze.

Actually, I think this is going to be pretty much it... Vapor has always been the consensus choice for the best looking/designed/built aluminum case. If the reception issue has been handled, I don't think there is anywhere else to go. The e13ctron hybrid will be out soon, but it won't really compete with the Pro. It, like the atomic, just has a different fan base. At that point, all 3 will have maxed out their products, and everyone will start looking at iPhone 5. That's my prediction at least...
 
You make some good points but you are also forgetting that folks at Verizon are just now getting their iphone and are still very much interested in cases. Plus, we have no idea of what the 5 or 4G or what ever it is called will even look like. They may keep the same design and just change internals so people will be able to keep their cases or get new ones that will still work with the next phone. I think its safe to say that Element will still sell a ***** load of cases like they always have and will continue to lead the pack like they have from day 1. People have been chasing them for a year and I wouldn't be surprised if apple keeps the same phone and just upgrades the internals and that will let Element continue to dominate the case wars. I have owned them all and they in MY opinion are the class of the field and always have been. Now with the Pro, it puts them on a whole other level compared to everyone else. Atomic was or is supposed to have their new case out but it has yet to surface and it would take a lot to overtake Element at this point. I will put it like this, if you see or get to hold a new Pro then you will purchase one. That is a gaurantee!! My wife saw mine and I had to order her a Pink one today and she wanted it tomorrow so I had it overnighted so it will be here tomorrow. I know its costing me a lot of money but I think they are worth it because I don't plan on buying another case again.

I have the had the same option about the 5 changing up the iPhone 4 case game but when I saw these I had to order. I dont think we will see the 5 till September so there might be a bit of juice left due to that and the new release of the white iphone 4 version. I really like the 4 gen Iphone and I don't know what improvements Apple could pull off on this version to make me plunk down 800 bucks again. I have a feeling I won't upgrade till the iPhone 6 comes out unless the 5 shoots lasers and opens my beer.
 
Oh yeah, I think we are saying largely the same thing. I agree Element will sell a ton of these. I just meant they don't have anywhere else to go other than more colors at this point, because it sounds like the product is pretty close to perfect.

I might be wrong though, that they may win over fans of atomic and e13ctron. As I type this, I am already thinking maybe I will get one too even if my e13ctro works out. I have definitely decided that I won't wait for the hybrid back. If it doesn't work as is, I'm buying a Pro, end of story...

I just got my other Pro for my wife!

I went ahead and let my wife pick out her a case because she liked mine so well and today is our anniversary so she deserves it for putting up with me all these years. She decided to go with the pink and black case and it just showed up and it is stunning!! Although I am not a pink guy it is very good looking and her eyes lite up when she seen it and immediately made me put it on her phone. So I let her mess with it awhile then I stole it to take some pictures of it and ours together. Here are her pics and then a few of both of ours together. And yes the pink really pops like it does in the pictures.
