No the black piece is black on the pink case. Any case that has one black side will have the black piece and the cases with the aluminum side will have clear or see though pieces like my all silver one.
Yes, they are identical in shape. But you will have to buy another case to get that half.
A new phone coming out is really the only thing stopping me from laying down the $$ for these. Though, in the end I'm probably going to order it...I'm just hoping the 5 or the 4S (according to the latest rumor) is cosmetically unchanged. I love the look and the shape of the 4, and would hate to have that changed. So, here's hoping these cases will fit on the next phone as well!

I was definitely under the impression That the first limited edition had a much shorter plastic part, however I guess that wouldn't effect interchangeability.
I believe they are the same materials, just a different finish...
Well, I am going to return the e13ctron. The new liner set did not work out any better, and I can't wait for the hybrid, which I suspect won't fix it anyway, as the signal loss happens even with only half the case on.
This leaves me with the Pro as my last viable aluminum case option. Otherwise, I am going to have to just wrap the phone in plastic, ugghh.
Going to browse colors now. Funny, I don't want the all black anymore (what I had previously). Now leaning to silver, red, or blue, definitely on silver/clear. Any advice?

I'm going to return my vapor pro blackops - but it's because of something that doesn't apply to most people:
I'm a photographer so I actually use my volume button a lot to snap pictures (via a jailbroken app call snaptap that utilizes the volume button to take pictures). The vapor pro (and even the normal vapor) makes it extremely hard to press the volume buttons. On top of that I also use bitesms quite often which also uses the volume buttons to bring up an SMS window.
Anyways, it's a minor detail that really only applies to me and a small amount of jailbroken iphone users. It's still an amazing case for those who don't run into the same issue. Otherwise I love the case and it's quite beautiful.

Sorry man, that sucks, but definitely a legitimate concern for a lot of these cases. Too bad the Draco loses more signal than the Pro, it has a much better button scheme...

Im Disappointed that the company didn't update their cheaper cases with some fixes. Like the larger opening for the dock connector.

Yes, that's what i meant. I believe the Spectra is just like the Black Ops but with a different color and finish type (not bead blasted or something like that)

I was pretty disappointed with the Draco's performance. The Vapor Pro is such an insanely nice case - I'm surprised they didn't think over the volume button opening oh well, it shouldn't bother too many people.That is kind of what I was trying to say the other day to you about the frequency differences and that plays such a big role in performance. I am sure you will love the Pro, its a awesome case, my wife even loves her's and she could case less about cases.

They dont the same ....blackops and FE have a better finish and it's bead blasted ....the limited edition have rough finish and it's matte , Spectra is glossy
I don't know about "better" finish. It's a matter of what you prefer. The Spectra is more glossy but you don't see the machining lines like the original Vapor 4 had. The Special addition models are so mat finish they feel like a chalk board. They may be more scratch resistant. the Spectra is by no means high gloss. The silver is like the aluminum finish on the Ipad or the aluminum Mac computers or keyboards. I kind of prefer that finish. I would call it a satin finish.
I also thouht that I would like the mate finish more than the glossy. Ive had both but I definialy like the glossy more. It feels a lot better in the had and is much more eye catching. The glossy has a satin look and feel that give an overall rich look and it really pops. Not to sound like an a** hole but when you spend this much on a case you like it to stand out from the plastic and rubber junk out there.

I have personally had both and liked them equally the same. I like the feel of the matte finish but I love the look of the gloss finish. So all in all it's really want you want. And I don't want to discourage anyone from going with e13 instead of Element. I know a lot about how these cases work and I had my suspicions that the e13 case would have signal trouble with the Verizon version that it did not with the at&t version. So far from several people I have heard and talked to my thoughts have been confirmed. Saying that, I have owned a e13 for my at&t phone and it worked great. Now I am using the Pro with my Verizon phones and they work excellent. They have so far had absolutely no downside what so ever. My signal is identical to my other naked iphone, my GPS is as accurate as my naked phone and my speeds are the same. With that said, I would highly recommend this case to anyone without hesitation. I never plan on purchasing another case again because I honestly do not see anyone topping this case plus I actually love the look and feel more than any case I have owned and the quality is second to none. I think Element really did their homework with this case to not only make it work and look excellent and have a great feel but the way it is presented when you get it is unlike any case out there right now either. So far the case is in a league of its own with the zipper pouch, the way the extra screws are built into the wrench, the wrench that attaches to your key chain and even down to the box that it comes in. So I have had the Blackops and now two others and they all worked excellent, looked great and I wouldn't trade them for another case out there and my wife even loves her's and she is like most women and does not really care about cases but she has been going on about her's for two days now. So I hope when more people start getting them they will post up pictures and things because I would love to see what the rest of the cases look like. I have posted all the pictures I have and mine are pink and black for my wife and all silver for me.
I'll post pics of my six Colour possibilities before I sell any. That's provided I can part with any of them. Looking at the pics that might be tough. I like switching up my cases a lot. I have 5 right now and just put up my used Vapor on Kijiji for 50 bucks. already have someone interested. : ) I would sell my exovault but it kills Wifi. Big waste of 180.00,it's a cool looking case but a pain in the keister on signal.

I placed my order. I ended up going safe, colorwise - black with silver/clear insert. I want to love this thing for another 18 months at least, and I just don't want a color that I might not like down the line. This way, I am sticking with the original/classic phone colors. It will still look great with the matte back protector I have. If I had the white iPhone it would be silver/silver hands down.
Anyway, I ordered with the free shipping (in the end I have spent as much on accessories as I did on the phone, but I am still a cheapskate at heart apparently).
I could care less about the zippered pouch, but for some reason, I am excited about the screwdriver to put on my keychain...
