I ordered mine May 5. It shipped may 11. There's a weekend in there. I took the free shipping and didn't order extras.
Very true. I've enjoyed the back and forth on this topic very much. I started back in June last year and I'm still posting. The original thread got shut down due to A holes lying and promoting their crap. Yes, I'm talking about the Nolesfan incident . Good bunch of people here who like tech and that's my kinda people.
Just my option on price. People keep talking about the expense and I don't like paying this kinda cash anymore than anyone else does. I also keep hearing things like it cost as much as a new Iphone. That's is untrue. If you broke your phone tomorrow and went to the phone shop to get another one it wouldn't be
250. It would be it's actual price of 750.00 so your 130 dollar case is protecting your 750.00 dollar phone. Also a cheap piece of rubber that looks like crap and is made in a mold a thousand a minute cost 40 bucks.
When you do the math on materials, production, function and style the Vapor Pro adds up to be a great
value. It's like the old saying goes. " you get what you pay for" I'd pick a custom metal case over a mass
produced piece of plastic any day.
Ps: I don't remember Microsoft giving people a break after they sold them that lemon of all lemons, Windows Vista when Widows 7 came out.....Just a thought.

Yes, yes i do lol. I put on a used Zagg for kicks the other day. I'll put on a new SGP tonight I have a few of them kicking around here somewhere.
in all seriousness though - any issue with old docks/cables?
my bmw ipod cable is the old fat kind and the old vapor wouldnt fit.

The bottom is quite large and should fit your BMW hookup unless the body of it is bigger than the iPhone.It is not as deep and the cutout is wider than the last model Im not 100% sure as I drive a Lexus and haven't uses that accessory. As far as stereo docs are concerned I dont see it fitting at all. But I will throw mine on the Logitech I have and see but I'm pretty positive i wont
work. It's a trade off for a case like this you can kiss most doc stations goodbye. I would recommend buying an extender and have the best of both worlds. They are pretty cheap. 10-15 bucks.

It's a Nikon D90 with a sigma macro lens. I don't know how to use it really but I like taking product shots.

I got the eBay vapor clone and it looked great but wasn't very functional. I threw it in the trash
My BMW iPod connector is the old style so it became useless.
The new vapor pro is nice but if should be incorporated in the old case.
That's just modifying the cad program to cut a bigger hole at the bottom -
Many sites sell these vapor clones, I found a site here, they got many cool cases.
I ordered a bunch of these from theluckylabs.com
They fit better than the SGP covers and you can always find a coupon code online that will save you 30-50 % off.
I also order their antenna wraps they sell 2 types with lots of colour options.
I've place about 8 orders from them and have been really happy with their products. They are a pretty cool company.
Cool thanks mate! Do you mind posting pictures of the red and silver combination? And if anyone has the blue, would love to see that as well. I'm kinda deciding between those two and the black opps.
Why does yours look so much better than mine? I ordered a black/silver one and I decided to reduce it the next day!!! I mean it virtually the same thing!! I had problems with the gap near the volume bottom looking at front. The case actually look fantastic under light at night, but during day time I just find it unattractive and unappealing. The black at the top is exactly identical to the phone black making it indistinguishable.
My opinion.
Honestly, I regarding the signal drop, I can say for my experience that I did not have any signal drop. I could still make phone calls easily without much problem. But the GPS issue was definitely there.. I would kinda say my phone can exactly pin point where I am when I am using Vapor Pro.

That is what I'm worried about. We get pretty strong receptions here in Australia so I'm not too concerned about the signal. I do own a vapor frost which had no effect on my signal but severally affected my GPS. That is a deal breaker for me as I do use Navgion on my iPhone.
I really liked the red combo when I bought the Red Frost. It was a really nice Red. Im not really crazy about this red as it looks much better in pics than it does in person. I really wanted to order the blue but I felt that over time it would be too much. I really love the Orange/ black combo and it's funny because I dont like orange. That shade is sharp looking and not too in your face. The pics look like the product in hand unlike the Pink and Red versions.
I kinda have the feeling that all colour combination will look better in picture than in person after my first disappointment. Maybe with the exception of Silver/silver since it's hard to take a good photo with that colour.
What I find interesting is that am i the only one that is disappointed? Didn't any of you guys have that thin light gap between the case and your phone? It's most obvious when you hold the phone straight up in front of you and focus on the volume corner.
Back to black/silver and why i don't like it. This is all my opinion, you can take it or leave it.
The black colour on the case is 95% identical to the black iphone's colour. It kinda didn't look too appealing to me when you look straight up. On the picture, you can see a clear colour tone differences for the black/silver case because of lighting. It make it look extremely appealing when it comes to the picture on their site. On the side, top, and etc of the case, it does look fantastic, but I hold my phone straight up all the time so I would want it to look good straight up rather than side wise. Interestingly, i noticed all of you who share picture aren't really sharing a front picture of the case rather than the sides, tops, and tilted angle. Like i said, I have no problem at all with the case on its own, just when you look it together with the phone and upfront. It didn't look too good. Hope you find my experience helpful. I am just trying to share my experience.
Orange/ black case

In my case I put on an old zagg skin a few days ago just to see if they could be washed with soap and reused. I really don't like zagg because of the orange peel effect. It was an old protector. Just an experiment. The front looked so
cloudy I didn't use the pics I took of the front. I put on a new SGP last night. I
can put up a few close up pics if you like. there is more a gap around the case
than the last versions. I assumed this was to allow more shock resistance for
your phone. I don't find it distracting. The only negative thing I experienced
with the Black/Silver is I found the clear plastic insert is much rougher around
the edges where you insert the screws and is really noticeable whenever your
hand touches it. On both of my black versions it is much smoother and doesn't
feel rough in the hand.
I'll say it again. Im loving the orange/ black. If I had just ordered the Red/ black and black/ silver I would have been disappointed with my purchase. Honestly that orange looks really good in person. It's the same Colour as on the website.
