I'm seeing all kinds of colours that weren't available a month ago. According to the website the only colours you can get currently without extra lead time is black/black and black/pink. Now we see blue,gunmetal and yellow. I'm not sure it's really fair of element to put out items that no everyone has access to. It seems from the Reactions here that alot of customers would now prefer different options from the limited ones they were given when they made their order. I'm really happy with the Black/Black I ordered but if there were more options I would have liked the opportunity to make a choice.
It's kinda like having to ask the waiter if they have something really good that's not on the menu.
But he spends most of his time ignoring your table.

Well, actually... for those who preordered and their order did NOT ship, we received an email with the new colors available.
 
i cannot believe people are spending $150 for this piece of junk on ebay. one drop and this thing will be scratch city.

Tell me a case that isn't true for? This one happens to be sexy and extra protective at the same time... nothing wrong with that. ;)
 
I'm personally not happy with Element at the moment. I've been trying to cancel my order for two weeks (as it was a gift for someone else who decided they didn't want it anymore). No response to any e-mails or phone calls, yet as soon as I try to go through PayPal I get a shipping notice.

No shipping information either, just notice that my status had changed to shipped. It's a lovely case I'm sure, but I don't want the headache of waiting another two weeks for it to arrive, only to return it immediately after and wait for some sort of refund. Where can I e-mail or call Element so that I can actually get a response?

I'm sure there are many other customers who would love the Black/Red that supposedly shipped to me today.

Edit: Especially since mine was in the 53xx order block. There's no reason I should get mine shipped if people in the 3xxx blocks are still waiting.
 
Sorry to vent here but looks like I finally found a place to post a complaint about the Vapor Case for the iPhone 4.

It's true that they have charged my card on 7/4 and I still have not received the case. I have written at least 6 emails (tried calling their customer service number but never got a call back, maybe because I was inquiring and not ordering??) just to inquire to the customer service and only received one response (mid July) in saying it is scheduled to be mailed the week after, which it didn't. Received the same mailer other folks got about the defect, and then another automated email. Then received another email saying they are "now taking pre-orders to ship next week so go purchase within 72 hrs...". I sent an email back because they introduced new colors now, which in my opinion should've been given as an option to the folks who have already pre-ordered a month+ ago.

I sent them an email asking what's up and to see if I can change my color options since my order hasn't shipped out. No reply back and next thing you know, I get an email saying my order is now shipped (8/10). I've been tracking it the last couple of days and called USPS and they said that although the electronic notification has been sent, the package itself hasn't been picked up due to unavailability. Is this a hoax?? Seriously?? They charge your card when the product is not even available yet, and now they send a shipping notification and not ship your product yet? For a case this expensive, you would've expected much better customer service. I understand that things could go very busy but they should've known the demand and planned accordingly.

Anybody else get a similar experience like me?

Same thing has happened to me. My tracking number was generated on Aug 5th, but as of today, it's still not been received by the Postal Service. I finally got a response from them saying that their system automatically generates the shipping labels, and not necessarily when the product is actually ready to ship. And they can't even tell me when mine will go out. And order number was 34xx for an all black one. There are people with later orders than mine that have received theirs. Their order fulfillment program sucks.

Yeah... and you may not even have to send it back. Contact them to find out how you can get version 2. Larry Greenberg had his overnighted I think (but that's probably because he had a youtube review of the first one up). Worth a shot...

I pre-ordered on July 01 and paid on July 03. I didn't get that email but I did see it posted here. I didn't notice an option to make changes to my order on the email. Other than email us a dozen times and beg to make a change to your order. It just goes back to them being a small out fit. I think it's a big mistake to give round 3/4 customers different options when they haven't finished sending out groups 1/2 orders yet. Everyone seems to be scrambling to make changes to their order with multiple emails that for the most part aren't getting a reply. I also believe that Element should do something special for the customers who have gotten Version 1 and now have to send it back and wait again for version 2. I can't imagine they are too happy about seeing versions 2 on line from people who ordered after them and they are just sticking their version 1's back in the mail. I would be ticked! That's just my 40 cents;)

I ordered a silver/silver, and then emailed and asked if they could so a silver/red, they emailed back an said yea if that's what you want let us know quickly your order is scheduled to ship tomorrow. I confirmed I indeed want red/silver, they reply with ok what's you order number? My order number was given in the original email I sent asking for silver/red. I then never heard back so I have sent 2 additional emails over the past few days asking them to confirm and they didn't respond. Finally get a response today and it days "dear Ned...we will not this on your order."

Who the hell is Ned? Not me! So if anyone named Ned placed an order your getting silver/red.

Yeah, They do make some very nice looking products but they aren't going to win any customers service awards. If they are going to be responsible they really should do something for the customers who have be treated poorly. Maybe a coupon code for discounts or something. I haven't seen that being offered in any emails I read yet . They should have done something right after they killed the first shipment date.

Haha, thats awesome. I was told yesterday that they weren't doing silver due to problems with the company who is making the silver caps for them............Ned, you might get Black/Black.
 
Honestly, just thinking from Element's point of view... I can't imagine how ridiculous-busy and chaotic it must be.

I got my email saying i could order and have until tomorrow at 2:00 pm - (my 72hr time period for ordering) to place my order but they aren't answering my emails. I want to know if it is possible to get a black and lime green one since it is listed on the back of the packaging. Oh well, it looks like I will miss my window of opportunity. I guess I'll just have to register again.
