Element Vapor Case

After using the case over the weekend I decided to sell it on ebay as well. I live in a "2 bar" reception area and with the case on I would have extremely variable service sometimes being able to make a call and sometimes safari would just freeze up. The aesthetics of the case are definitely beyond anything that I expected even with the renders, but the signal issues were just a deal breaker for me.
By the way, case sold within an hour for $250 Buy It Now. For those that are on the edge about this, sell it on ebay instead of sending it back.

Very good review. You hit on a point regarding muffled sound. In this thread somewhere somebody else alluded to the fact that people had a bit of trouble hearing him. Do you sound different to others?
I don't think so. The cut outs are fine, so I'd think the microphone should work OK. The issue may be the metal resonates the speaker sound and either distorts it or reduces its volume. Not a huge deal, but it was noticeable to me. Thx
damn this case is just going down more and more every day I read about it.. I can not believe I paid $100 for it and still have it.. I just proved myself I am Polish once again.
I put mines on ebay almost 3 days ago. The auction ends today. Its already at $250.00...I havent had any real problems with it I just dont think its sturdy enough for me. I feel if I drop it it still wont protect my phone...
I see one is at $300 now. I see several "buy it now" a bit north of that. Man, this thing is nuts! Why? Why not wait a month or so and then buy it for way less?

Yep, like a mouth full of crackers. For those of you who received your order did you get a tracking #? I got an email saying my package was shipped and now can be tracked but no tracking info as of yet. Is there a way to track it through their website or something? I looked pretty hard and didn't see anything. I grow weary of the antics.
In my shipping email I got a USPS Tracking # with a link to the USPS site and a link to some third party site that could track for me as well.
Incidentally, up to the day before I received the case the USPS site said they had only received electronic confirmation. I never got any actual shipping info. Of course once I had the case I didn't bother to go back and check again!
i never rec'd a tracking #, just the email saying its shipped.

my "tracking number" still don't work on USPS's website...I was told that it was sent out and he personally packaged and sent it out...yea right? probably sitting on a desk at their underground workshop as they read this thread and laugh while drinking sangria...they have made me slave to my mailbox...checking everyday like an a#*hole and all there ever is in there are bills and junk mail

Got a change in status on 8/17 that the order was 'awaiting shipment'.
With tracking number from the USPS.
After two emails and one week of no activity, I got an update from Element case that the order shipped today.
We will see - looking at USPS.com with the tracking number provided, no activity....
Perhaps my bugging them made them change my status to get off their a**es.

Just checked the mail. Got a box and then got wood. Opened it up and it was my package I ordered from SGP on Aug 15. Lost wood. Happy that something from CA can make it to Canada when it's suppose too.
Today is day 51 after paying. I'm sure I'm about to get an email from Element saying that it was in the shipping depot but the owners dog ate it and now they have to wait for the parts to build me another one.

I see today there are a lot more. One is stuck at $300 with over a day left. I fancy in a week or two the price is going to drop.
How to cancel an order
For those of you that cancelled, how did you do it?? I sent them an email, and got no response (what a surprise). Did you happen to find a way to cancel from the order status page?
Luckily, I paid using amex, so I can and will cancel through them. I'm just curious if anyone found another way??
